Sachin's 100th century
by bhujanga subannachar on Aug 11, 2011 12:01 PM

All Indian well wishers are eager for Sachin's 100th century which is a very phenomenon in the game under present circumstances. Let us not compare him with Bradman and also not with Gavaskar and Dravid's achievements too.Getting 100th 100 is really great but as advocated by many political circles it can not qualify for Bharat Ratna. This awarded has been bestowed to many questionable personalities BUT few were truely deserving. A sports achivement of this sort certainly do not qualify for such a national award of highest degree as it do not contribute to social serving it is only a momentary glory and personal glory. However sachine's acievment is not a small one

sachin is a god of cricket
by sanjeev hunjan on Aug 08, 2011 07:05 PM

sachin is a god of cricket.. people who say bad words about sachin dont know anything about cricket.. sachin gave india what any other cricketer cant give ever. he played and won india matches in those situations when no body could do anything and i bet no one can ever do whatever he did for india.. he is a god of cricket.. i pity on those kids who say sachin is mean or say bad about sachin.. i challenge those people come " come and perform like sachin if u have guts mofos". i have seen sachin playing ever since i started watching cricket and he is incredible..u may know his name but u dont know his story.. respect this legend.. i am so proud of being the citizen of the same country where sachin was born. i might stop watching cricket when sachin will retire.. f*ck sachin haters. i pray to god that sachin never retires.. thanx for being born in this country and playing for this nation sachin..

superannuation problem in politics and cricket also, in india
by viswanatha seshadri on Aug 08, 2011 05:00 PM

keeping tendulkar in team waiting for him to get 100th century, bringing rahul in when he wants to retire, are bad symptoms in indian cricket as in indian politics. superannuation. pawar continuing as agri-min when he might have forgotten the spelling of the word agriculture, besides also chairing bcci?
india win ipl only bec of new generation of toung players in team. time has come to remove the overaged not only from ministries, but also from sports-teams and sport-management committees like bcci, as also among their advisers. when greeds supercede quality needs, the nations will only go down the drain.

MEDIA SPOILED THE TEAM
by Murali Dharan on Aug 08, 2011 01:42 PM

Inclusion of Drvaid in the one day series against England has evoked a lot of questions, particularly from Indian media. Other than creating presuure, our media can't do anything better. They put pressure on Tendulkar for his 100th century. If Tendulkar can score 99 centuriries he will score 100th also without the help of this bloody media. Now Dravid has been secleted for the oneday series and they have questioned the logic behind that selection. Selectors also know Dravid is best suited for test match but given the current form and performance of the Indian batsmen in England, they need a consistent batsman and not a batsman who can hit one or two fours and get out. Now Dravid has announced his retirement from oneday format after the England tour and our media have lost a great opportunity to go after him.

4 overs of IPL neither test anyone fitness or hurt anyone body
by D S on Aug 08, 2011 11:05 AM  | Hide replies

zaheer fitness was not good in IPL either.
...because 4 overs cannot test a players fully. What more, India team A can play IPL once in 2 years and put spare time in Program made to be number 1.
burden of blame to not check zaheer fitness lies solely on the team management and selectors.

if angrez include Ravi Bopra for trott,

all the blame will be on ravi bopara for drawn or lost match.

so Ravi will have to work extra to prove otherwise. Because Ian botham has given 4-0 verdict against india. clever move by angrez.

With zaheer not recovering, seems like it could not be easy for india until we try two spinners. 2 pacer plus one swinger cum batsmen like Irfan.
And be fired up like Angrezi are.

they sprayed code named zondo Virus on tendulkar.
what did praveen have, looks like praveen had alcohol hangover that stops men from explaining (who really failed ) to the fans rather than using a bat.

this virus sprayed at door knob or room or food can give sufficient swelling in tendulkar head that he cannot discern between in-swinger and out-swinger length. Neither does he feel like exercising. Should keep him lazy like rest of players for quite sometime, the rest of players look at hambuger and muffin chewing Fletcher for inspiration on fitness.

need of the hour
by divine on Aug 08, 2011 10:54 AM

Need of the hour is not he scoring hundred but to save the grace of indian team which has been beaten black and blue in the previous two tests, by a huge margin. The problem with indians is over confidence and they have taken for granted the english team which, they have not played for a very long time. Further, except for a brief visit to WI and Sri Lanka, they have not toured either Australia, South Africa or England. Its Litmus test for Indians and lets keep our fingers crossed.

Not only Tendulkar but everyone in the team has to put in their extra effort to win both the remaining tests and save the grace of indian team which is No.1.
