Foriegn coaches when touring home country
by cc man on Aug 07, 2011 12:45 PM  | Hide replies

In the past every time a foriegn coach is on the tour of india with his home country, that series has been lost by india or drawn. just check the records of kirsten when SA played india in india or in SA. Same with John Wright when its NZ and same with grep chappell when its AUS etc. so this current will be either drawn or lost by india becuase the coach is from england.

praveen ambre could have been best coach instead of flecher because Pravin Kalyan Amre pronunciation (helpinfo), born on August 14, 1968, Mumbai, is an Indian cricketer.

Amre represented India in 11 Test matches scoring one 100 and three 50s with a batting average of 42.50. However, these figures did not help him to become a regular fixture in the national team. He found himself in Indian colours just for two seasons from 1992 to 1994... Dennis Lillee himself said Amre was the best player of pace bowling, even better than Viv Richards and Bishen Bedi said he was the best playr of spin bowling, even better than Gundappa Vishwanath.

He had the rare honour of scoring a century in his debut Test match. It came against a South African side that included Allan Donald and Brian McMillan. He was known to be asthmatic.

He had a good record in domestic cricket playing for Mumbai Cricket Team, Railways, Rajasthan and Bengal. He also played in South Africa with Boland. His 246 for Rest of India against Bengal is still the highest by any bastman in the Irani Trophy.

Amre came from the same school of cricketers as Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli, and like Tendulkar and Kambli, he was also coached by Ramakant Achrekar. He is the only Indian cricketer to score a half century on his ODI debut and also a century on his test debut

He is the current coach of the Mumbai Cricket Team, and the assistant coach of the Indian Premier League side, Pune Warriors India.

Indian fast bowlers - watch videos of broad/ansderson
by cc man on Aug 07, 2011 11:08 AM

Not sure when indian fast bowlerss will learn the art of bowling that has consistent good length pitching, seam, pace, bounce, swing. Why cant they watch the videos of successful englishmen bowlers from the first two tests or aus-england test matches to find out why they are not successful as opposed to them in the first two tests. They can learn their defects by watching broad for seam, bounce, good length pitching up/down. and they can watch seam, bounce, good length swinging out,in from anderson. and they can watch tremlett/bresnan for all
