Archary, kabaddi, Dahi Handi are also games pay some attention to those games also so that the players will not feel that cricket stars are born to godfather like sharad pawar and all other games than cricket are sons of lesser gods?
The hue and cry about the No 1 position in Tests is because unlike the WestIndies in the 70s-80s and the Austrailian team in the 90s and early 2000, at present no team is a clear No 1. So presently its India, but England thinks they are better and maybe so does SA. However, there is very little to chose between the top 3-4 teams as England will struggle the same way against India in India (they always have). So we should be happy that we are o 1, but not be obsessed by it and should try and win more often abroad.

agree; there is a difference b/w nr. 1 and invincibles. WI and Aussies were almost invincible for a long time...India did play well and winning worldcup was not a matter of chance, however consistency in perf is always a problem in India's sport in general...to counter that reserve bench should be very strong...they should also play abroad more to prepare themselves...however I think India's A team is hardly sent abroad on tours...result is they are preparing a bunch of good sub continent players for future..

I am looking forward to seeing England team in India. They will sweat as bad as our guys are doing now and then all this overconfidence lets see what happens then.
Its too early to write off anybody or anyteam. Whereas to think that they are world champs because they beat india after 15 years in a test series (be it in England or India) is naive.

typical mentality, if v r world champion v have to play like champion, no matter than wht condition we are facing, the way Aussie played all this years, tht set an example for an champion.
Wow, this is the first time I'm loving to read this discussion board. For the first time every one is behind our team and they all have spoke about Indians mentally and physically drained. Very nice to read such comments rather than just criticizing the team for not doing this or that, blaming sachin or dravid or dhoni for something. We have a very good team. They r trying their best. It must have been so mentally draining for them to win the world cup. So many people and their expectations. They r really good players, our team. Guys please post such good comments. It sets examples to lot of guys and pass out only positive vibes instead of negativeness surrounding. Lets support our team, they r true professionals, surely they will beat England in the next 2 tests. I normally don't post anything here cuz of sick comments other guys post abt sachin or India. I thank sandep, another critic, thomas, debarshi, taklu, Imran all the other guys for posting good things in support of India.
