Team india needs to try 2 pacers, 2 spinner and 1 pacer cum swinger all-rounder. 2 pacers are zaheer and another one in form. 2 spiner are Pragyan and Rohit. pacer cum swinger and all-rounder is someone like Irfan or ... Angrez have a sort of system and an ongoing program in place. It has been feeding off for quite some time and spicing it up. Peitersen did not show his moves in IPL T20. He was like those few angrez there in IPL with intelligence collection mission. Now we see some of what the angrez did with that intelligence collection. When Yuvi sent Broad to the ropes for 4 sixes. Angrez decided that they will develop low order into batsmen like broad as well like India used to have like zaheer. Angrez are doing what Indians and Australia used to do well and have forgotten. I have no doubt Dhoni can work himself to be a good medium-pace swing bowler and a better keeper. Once India develops a program to be Number 1. Same for those (From team B and team C) who will rotate with Dhoni to give him rest at right time. Same can be done for the rest according to their inclination.

OK thats not bad... But 2 spinners are not useful on England or African pitches.. Our team needs a genuine fast bowler, who can beat the batsman with his speed on any wicket...

Angrez are very much used to fast bowlers from broad, trott, bresnan. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

I agree somehow on Indian pitches, but doubt two spinners in English conditions, you can see what's Bhajji is performing there... If you have spinner with capability like Warne, Murli or Kumble then you may take chance... but not on our available spinners.

D S bhai Rohit is not in any class of a genuine spinner... Broad started his career as a opener and later on he updated himself as a fast bowler...

Everybody is crying on Indian Team for playing in IPL (making money & not playing good for country), those people are jealous from their financial achievements? If they are not playing better in Test Matches, then why they are selected again & again for India.. It was responsibility of BCCI to select or neglect them. So don't feel jealous, just post some good advices for BCCI

dear nanaji, no one is complaining abt making money frm IPL, only thing is that players shud show the same level of commitment @ the international level also, which they r nt doing cos they r making enough money frm IPL, after all hw much money sumone needs, wen they feel that their pocket is full without international duty they dnt out effort. then regarding droping players, all of them r geting enough frm IPL, then hum shud b chosen. my humble request u is first try to understand the cause then post ur coment

Pl. see your reply and think what are you saying that they have made enough money... What is the defination of enough money? Then why they are doing long tours, they can rest them... But they better know than you that they are getting chance in IPL, just because of playing good at international level... So think from your mind rather than heart... Try to understand the facts before criticizing to others... One of the easiest job in the world is to criticize others... and you are doing the same...

India is still on top (as because ranking will update after the test series), they need to win one of the remaining Test and draw the other...
It is Sehwag who has to bring life into present Indian squad. If he clicks at the top of the order, others will follow him and a formidable score is possible. Actually, in Test Cricket, those who win toss, should elect batting first. Automatically, our bowlers will have advantage of doing confidently.

wrong...toss winner shud ball first. Whole team is energitic then for fielding. 5 blowers are active too. Plus they wud know the kind of wicket and turn and bounce.

The problem is more acute as all cross bat or base ball hitters like Yusuf,Raina,Yuvraj make so much money by playing shorter version that no one has any inclination to stay & build inning.ganguly may be right in defending achievements of Dhoni but his batting skills on fast or turning tracks are questionable to say the least.He obviously has to defend Bhajji his crony for many years but all know what makes him click?Gavaskar saved him by changing bye laws on chucking along with a shot putter who thankfully has retired now.
All thanks to IPL. Indian cricket team is fit to play IPL only (Attitude wise). Even if they are injured, they play; but with a guaranteed contract from BCCI, they can afford to reveal their unfitness & enjoy Hospital(ity) of BCCI without playing for the country!! Dhanya ho Dhoni & co
It is not about loosing or winning. It is about the attitude, the fight, the way we loose or win. Thats where India found so wanting & so is being criticized rightly. And about Bhajji, he has not been able to turn the ball & hence perform for quite a while now. Bedi said it right, rest hiim, let him play domestic cricket & if proven, take him back. So it is not just failure in teo tests that has warrnted his critisism.
