First of all Harbhajan is not a plyer used to English pitch. After the first test he should have been given rest. Not playing Munaf patel in second match was the another mistate. Selection of Mukund ahead of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma was the thirs mistake. After winning the toss India have not taken batting- this the another mistake. We have players like Sourav Tiwari, Manoj tiwari, and valaithy. These people should have been given a chance if our regular players in inury. Why vinay kumar was dropped. He should be given another change if Zahir is not playing. Mukund is totally failed but getting change again and again.
If these things are changed, India should have been better position in both tests.
Since England gets into T20 at will at anytime during the test, India needs to have two spinner to check and those spinner to put brakes being Pragyan Ojha and Rahul.

Maybe try a 3 rd pacer-swinger that is an all-rounder like Irfan pathan.
Ian, If you think that you can play fast bowler well then try it in Australia. They need you more than India. India will bounce back in 3rd & 4th Test Matches. You will see it. Don't forget that England had crushed Autralia in Ashes. So, Australia need you more.

I think I should change my nationality and bat for this depleted Indian team. Hey mate Dhoni...do you need my services, I can still play fast bowling better then that Baseball player Raina !!
With 5 left handers in the England Team, what is the logic in replacing Harbajan with Ojha. There seems to be a anti-Ashwin Campaign.Does it mean that Bhajji decides who replaces him.Only a fool will ignore Ashwins credentials particularly with 5 left handers in the opposite camp.It is going to be a whitewash only.We deserve this-because of our lackadaisical selections we are not fit to be at he top.

You are right on the fact that Harbhajan has a huge say on the team selection. It was his proximity with MSD that kept Ashwin away for most of the World Cup too. But I also feel that Ashwin is more of a container than a wicket taker though I completely agree that an offie should be replacing Bhajj. Anyways the good news is that bhajji is out and hope its for good!!

Ashwin is a bowler more suitable for one days. ojha is a test match bowler. by playing in IPL LIKE MATCHES players are falling between 2 stools.

These spinners can only bowl on cracked square turner, irresepective of whether Sardarji, the lungi or this this poor looking Ojha
