Congrats England
by bluesshaman on Aug 02, 2011 02:33 PM

England played with self-belief and courage. (The way India played the last couple of years.) Congrats to them, they were the better team in both matches. Better prepared, more disciplined, more aggressive, seized all chances, created opportunities with untiring efforts. All the hallmarks of a winner. I hope India rediscover their mojo. I want India to level the series, which will take some doing. It will also make for a breathtaking series! And I doff my hat to Dravid. In the face of inexorable, and unfair, criticism, he marches on. If only the rest of the team could learn from his willpower, concentration and imbibe his powers of application...

class performance
by divine on Aug 02, 2011 12:27 PM  | Hide replies

England out performed India in both the tests. Its nightmare for Indian team to play the remaining two tests which result is evident in their faces.

Expect the unexpected; indian cricket fans. Do you still want BR for MB?

Our fellows are lions only against Bangladesh and weak West Indies.

England has chosen their players based on their performance and not on Regional politics as India. Else how could Harbajan finds a place in the 2nd test inspite of his utter failure in the 1st test. 248 runs and 01 wicket? I bet, he will be there in the remaining tests also as he is man from the indian PM community.

Who said angress is number 1. They have never won a battle in Lanka or in India since 1980. next year they have some acid tests in Srilanka as well as in India. Win those test series as well the test series against Pakistan in Dubai. Then We decide.

ENGLAND shud win in SUBCONTINENT only then it cud be called real no 1. India have done the winning/draw in the overseas series in last four years... and that is the reason that they were no 1... and not only by winning at home like ENGLAND... the shud win/draw a series in INDIA/SRILANKA/PAKISTAN... only then can they be termed as REAL no 1....

India's Performance :-(
by Gokul on Aug 02, 2011 11:55 AM

Clearly, this is not the performance we expect from the No.1 test side . The way they batted in the 2nd innings was appauling - the least i can say .
But, to be fair to the Inidan team , they did miss some of their main players like Sehwag , Gambhir and Zaheer (the most vital one for me). I for one belive that had these players been around maybe the result would have been different . Although, please note this is NOT an excuse for the way we played.

Coming to some of the players - I would have expected Sachin to play a little more responsibily for 2 reasons. 1)he was looking in sublime form in the 3 out of 4 innings that he batted. 2)The team really needed him to support Dravid .

What do i say about Dhoni - he's surely going through a rough patch. I just hope the World cup glory has not gone to his head. If that is the case, i'm sure he's been brought to Ground 0 now :-).

Lets just pray that Sehwag , Gambhir and Zaheer return to the playing 11 and we can salvage atleat one win and a draw in the coming matches .

Fit Red beef charging in, wanting to hit mukund off stump
by D S on Aug 02, 2011 11:17 AM  | Hide replies

1.
CAN SEE SCARY LOOKS ON MUKUND FACE.
went few millimeters past mukund stump with late swing.
off stump for left hander = leg stump for right hander.
Since they could not hit the stumps, got him to commit an jumping ball that he should leave.

2.
Two non-violent gandhian oldies (laxman and dravid) wanted to live in peace.
oldies thought they could leave most of balls to live in peace the GANDHI WAY.
So the red beef went to hit their stump directly or make ball go above the stumps.
first type got laxman with swing-angle hitting the off and second type that rose above stumps got dravid knowing full
well that dravid is not a front foot man either..

Never to forget history when we see this massacre of jalia wal bagh. the nehru, jinnah and gandhi were beaten down and made brokers of angrez and then projected as true desis by angrez media to rule through kickback regime setup through many brokers that videshis built over time.

3.
if mukund was not nervous, he could have let the ball go. same for dravid.

4.
Lesser said about Yuvraj, etc about batting and Indian bowling, the better.

5.
ANGREZ AND VIDESHIS SPY-cheat ON THE INTERNET and almost all aspects of communications-transport.
thus, india should start their own version of cricket like Americans did with baseball.

6.
Videshi have made comeback after WW-II with agressive spying and tactics in business, etc. Be it EU or NATO
or business opening of Indian economy or the hidden professional network with desi brokers and recruit

England are clearly the World No.1
by Surya Prakash on Aug 02, 2011 11:04 AM

On day 3, the Indian bowling was massacred by the English batsman including their low order batsman scoring 417 runs in a single day !!!. Their WK Matt Prior & Broad make a joke of our bowling. On day 4 Bresman comes our rubbing salt into our injury scoring at will and almost a century. Our media starts writing that now the pitch is batting friendly. Now the Indian innings start and we fall like 9 pins including the 3 batting greats. 3 batsman Mukund, Raina & Yuvraj cannot play the shortball and batting greats like Sachin, VVS cannot judge Inswingers. I wonder how the English batsman raised the bar few thousand feet and we lowered our bar few thousand feet. An amazing turnaround to our Cricketers becoming ZEROES from HEROES. Winning & Losing is a part of sport and life. But what is shocking is the way, Indians have been beaten to pulp. I wonder what was Sachin's contribution when Dhoni ran out of ideas when our bowlers were belted on Day 4. Dhoni's luck has run out. He was never good with the bat and now he will have a hard time. The only one who can save India is SEHWAG if he can get into form. Otherwise let us be ready for a 4-0 drubbing. The English have really improved a lot and are clearly the World no.1. Imagine their bowlers toying with our bowling and straightway come back and wreck our strong batting line-up in 2 hours. They are in the best form of their life and we are left shell shocked and devastated.

the confidence would be so bad after 4-0 defeat that they will not be able to come back even in India without MUD PITCHES that ICC will not allow.
