My point is that when every thing are changing, why not Cricket. World is changing so fastly, 5 days turned to ODI, now ODI turned to T-20, T020 mau turn to Ten-10, soon or later. I love cricket in any format.

IPL will destroy test as well as one day cricket!!!!!

as now a days cricketers wants to earn more n more money in quick time!!!!!

and the IPL takes too much time to complet!!!!!more than the WC!!!!

it also harm the patriotism of players!!!!!

and finally it will create division of india as we now a days see some are chennai fans some are mumbai fans!!!!

the day is not far when same country players will do sledging with each other on the ground!!!!

Ambani money made malinga to reitre from test ckt..

Ambani money made malinga to reitre from test ckt..Without Malinga it very hard to imagine MIs...sachin is ter but their team looses if he scores 100 also.. Malinga is taking wkts at crucial times and very tight overs at the end..tats y they are at the top of the table..without him MIs would have somewer b/w 4-8 in table..Tats y MIs are desperate to keep him at any cost.. Srilankan ckt is gone bankrupt with huge debt..they cannot satisfy ambani kind of money.. Ambani could have payed him more than 20crs and asked him to play for MIs and retire from test ckt...

Its Ambani who helped malinga in critical times not his national board.. Grow up n think wisely why a player places anything above nation...

IPL will spoil the cricket
by shankar mani on Apr 27, 2011 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

Australian fans/South African Fans/England fans/WI fans are not watching IPL at all and love to see their country matches. If ICC keeps IPL in mind for FTP means, indirectly it is disappointing respective countries fans by not allowing them to watch their country games. Why the hell they have to consider some greedy players and corporate owners wish and disappoint true cricket fans who would love to see their county games. Why players are not taking rest now and play for the country in WI. IPL will spoil the cricket and also kill true cricket fans. Please do not keep IPL in FTP and allow true fans to see their country matches. It is visible players are retiring so early keeping IPL money in their mind.

BCCI will never oblige
by Sri on Apr 27, 2011 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI will never oblige seeking a window for IPL, If they do then even Australian and English leagues will also follow BCCI. Will BCCI hold the tours of Indian team for the sake of English and Australian domestic circuits. They never will as this will see a dip in the BCCI revenues. Plus IPL is almost an independent body, loosely held by BCCI. Sorry Sangakkara, play for IPL or SLC is solely your choice, but window for IPL is not going to happen

What is the problem by the time test cricket will be buied round the year you keep playing IPL type cricket and make money .Occasionally you have one day tours 3-5-7 as you like such tours can be completed in15-20 days .This is the only game which defies the logic you can not fool people all the time.
