Club Over country??
by Raja on Apr 29, 2011 10:35 AM  | Hide replies

There is news going around that Sr.Indian players have informed board of their dis-interest in going to WI tour. Are the players heading on the right direction by choosing the club over country...They are here just becoz playing for india and not vice versa....To see players like sachin doing it is even more painful...There was an earlier instance last year ipl when he had to rush for the treatment of his injury to srilanka and get prepared for the final and he played final after rushingback from srilanka...But many a time he has opted out and preferred not to play inspite of his lesser injuries compared to the one he had during last ipl final....Hope many will agree with me on this....I am not blaming sachin alone but few more players....

Dude.. for India.. IPL and National Cricket is run by same agency BCCI. At the end of the day, players abide by what BCCI says....

Srs are taking a break to give chance to youngsters. Today, WI team can be beaten by Junior team.

age and burning desire to win are the two factors for success. dhoni has aged fast. also his desire to win has sloped down. but they are natural. the same negative factors of the others gave him a chance to lead the team. that there are no other suitable players visible enough in the team helps him to stay as captain.

IPL indian players
by Milind Khabale on Apr 26, 2011 03:13 PM  | Hide replies

one can observe how players are showing their loyalty to IPL team owners during matches on and outside the field. Many young players forget that purpose of IPL apart from money making is provide a platform for young players and getting talented players for main Indian National Team. But during matches many of bowlers forget that the wicket taken by them of any indian team player is his subordinate in main team and celebrate on field in such a fashion and rudly with indian batsmen so that their team owners will admire about his loyalty and honesty for team. This in turn will create a fuss in mind of player which is harmful when these players will gather tomorrow for playing for india as a unit. Thanks to Fairplay award that at some extent that has put some check for such showbizz.

Frankly IPL is watched by people like me I am retired and have very little to do .Next is the unemployed youth - How do they pass the time torture from parents and society. For many who can afford any sort of entertainment this is a way out.Inspite of Ravi Sastri shouting till his throat is a paining - that the stadiums are jam packed ,fulletc if some one can watch there are too many vacant seats .finally we also go to Circus for it is abetter entertainment . This is not paijama cricket but cheddi cricket.

If they enter Knock out they will have a sure Advantage over others, as they have played as a unit for seasons and experienced this do or die games double than any other IPL teams most importantly they done it rather die in the most of the time
