yep. At the very least they are top players among the top 11 in India at a given point of time.
Sachin and Dhoni bashers should try and get at least into the top 1000 in their respective states in their respective professions. And then talk.

Dhoni is purposely spoiling Badrinath,s chances to prove his mettle. Badrinath was the highest scorer in the last match against Mumbai against all odds. So he should have been sent one down after Murali vijay"s dismissal. Instead he sent Raina who as usual failed. After that there was no necessity for Dhoni to promote himself ahead of Badrinath. When Dhone got out there was hardly 2 overs for Badri to play. He is a solid batsman with correct technics to play when there is problem and is not just a hard hitter like Dhoni. Dhoni seems purposely blocking Badri so that North Indians can only shine.

Dhoni is a hard core regional & manipulative politician who is surviving on luck & master in taking others credits. There are few brainless guys in this forum who comapre this ordinary politician dhoni with legend sachin who is performing for last 22 yrs without any politics. All winning trophy T-20 wcup, IPL-3, Wcup 2011 dhoni contribution as a player was nil except for final inning in wcup. He is simply lucky to be a captain of winning side. in test if india is no.1 it is all courtsey sachin, sehwagg, darvid, laxman, ganguly, kumble, zaheer etc as India is performing god for last 10 yrs & dhoni has no role to play there. His performance as a batsman in test is pathetic & never desrve a place in team. If captai win matches India could not have been out in 1st round of 2009/2010 T-20 wcup & 2008 ICC championship cup under same captain. Its match winner player who win matches & not captain. As long as dhoni is not top performer with bat, he should not be given unnecessary credit. it is just hyped by media. Players like laxman, dravid, kumble , etc deserve much more than useless politician dhoni but then all these guys are non political & hence no hype. sachin gets hype but no complain as he fully desreve it.

yes by making 200 runs & tahinh 11 opposition wickets in every match. Captain has no role in win. Its match winner batsman or bowler who win matches. Any captain is as good as his team. But yes if he is not performing as a player, he must be dropped as no one can play in team in name of captaincy. Dhoni/dada captaincy is just overhyped by media & political mindset fans. Their actual contribution is minimal compared to real match winners like sachin, dravid, laxman, sehwag, kumble, zaheer etc. dada at least better than dhoni as ODI batsman. dhoni is a big flop in all three formats as a player
