Cricket has become a 24/7 affair these days. Cricket board can't be denied oppurtunity to make money. However, players concerns are genuine. Only solution is to keep a strength of 50 players and rotate them after couple of series.
When this question was asked to Indian cricketers, I remember Sehwag replying saying that BCCI has always said that if a player wants to rest, he can make himself unavailable for a series and the board will give another player a chance. A lot of Indian players are resting after IPL and this will give chance for them to recoup and for other players to play for the country. England players should also stop being greedy and prioritize...

You are right. BCCI is organising IPL to make money. And the money is mostly genearted becuase of participation of star Indian players. If they do not participate, BCCI may not make money as expected. This may result on BCCI venting anger on resting players. So "Paani mein rahke magar macchh se bair nahin karte". Secondly when India travels abroad, the cicket crazy people of Indian still come to watch matches because of patriotic fervour. Because they do not get to watch IPL matches in stadium. Wise thing for players is play in IPL and take rest for not so important series like West Indies

"Whingers" is correct and not "whiners". To whinge means to complain repeatedly and to whine means to make a whining noise like a jet engine noise or "a dog whines".

Looked it up. Whinge is British variation or slang of whine. Whining about something also means complaining. So both are correct.
