Our country taxes people for earning more...what does it give to people who does not have anything ....nothing. Our Govt grabs the fruits and vegetables from vendors who sit on the road (unlicenced) but do they for free offer them an alternativve..... NO.
We are charged ROad tax for getting free roads to drive on...then why the toll where the GOvt gets money in the other way.......
What i want to convey is If you have money then you are comfortable...then why blame the poor cricketers who entertain you at the risk of injuring themselves and get compensation for it....
What is the problem in this? Take the matter a bit differently. If a city say Nagpur is famous for oranges but since that orange gets better value if exported the ministry has no problem in exporting the orange and leaving all the bad oranges to Nagpurians (just an eg) If the Govt without thinking for the people can think of money why not cricketers
We should understand 1 important point-Malinga because of his paricular action has already reduced his career span .He has every right to decide where he should devote his remaining career to Test or to Faster version!!

I agree Malinga has every right to decide what is best for him, however are you an ortho Dr.? If not, then please do not presume to know that his knee problem is due to his unique bowling action. I think you may soon see young players learning his delivery style, like the "Dil-scoop" or in athletics the "Fosbury Flop" which were initially ceiticused.
has taken its toll on players like flintoff malinga, etc,. from intnl ckt for the sake of ipl money. too bad deal. lost country for money!
also wonder if malinga quit test matches if he is earniong the money in 1.5 months that he wud hv earned in 2 years full seasion of intnl ckt, then he might b thinking of losing a match by fixing n earning in a single day what he wud hv earned in 2 full seasion!

When Malinga was injured for 6 months, the SLC did not make any payment to him. I am sure there r plenty of bad experiences with people who r running the country. Whats wrong if hes thinking for himself n his family by playing in the IPL? Pls dont be prejudiced abt him fixing matches
bbc has big in-road into lankan, pak, etc media. they pay the journalist who peddle poison news against india and also feed them. Also, give them jounalist assignments like lankan marriage, wildlife, etc.
on top of that, even some west-indies players have been trained into angrez/euro poison. West-indies/American and now many africans were muslims (and shamans before Arabs convertede them) , those in americas were captured/slaved to bought into americas to be converted by angrez to protestants/etc.
Lanka will be accused for war crimes by UN in the coming days making the Sinhalese officially war criminals. All hail Vellupillai Prabhakaran who fought state terrorism with his own blood. Let LTTE flourish again to stop the Sinhalese terrorists!
