KKR is looking well as a team unit. I don't think they need to do anything different because of last defeat. They are in right direction and will do well in this tournament.
SRK is a complete show man. The things that he does to impress people on a cricket field is really pathetic. His statements after him not picking saurav was laughable . He said he wants saurav to mentor the team etc etc. He knew in advance that he will earn the wrath of fans,if he dont pick dada. Atleast if he has made a decision, then he should have the guts to face its consequences come what may. But after distancing saurav from kkr, it was very irritating and disgusting to see srk begging with fans to gain their support. He thinks people come to the ground to see his gimmicks.

Bengalis will chase away KKr just like they chased away Nano. I do not understand, what Ganguly's contribution was, when the team came last in 3 seasons. Any owner would not tolerate such mess, and SRK gave far more leeway to Ganguly than mallya did to RCB. remember he changed his squad in the second season itself. And if Bengali solidarity is so much then why did Subroto Roy not take in ganguly, if he is so valuable. SRK released ganguly and that is where it should have ended. There was an auction, and Subroto could have taken him for Bengali cause.
The fact is that KKR is still playing with a lot of baggage, for no fault of thiers except that they are in a region where jobs are guaranteed until retirement. This comes from a sense of entitlement, and what it has done for Bengal is for all to see. The performance of KKR could be better if not for the looming shadow of an acrimonious background.

I agree with you partially...Yes his time is over so he is kept aside...no team will pick him up as a player anymore..SRK might be worried now for choosing a wrong region (Kolkata) and Dada to make money

Sourav no doubt was a good leader and batsman , he could not deliver results in past 3 editions of IPL. 6th in IPL1 8th in IPL2 and 6th again in IPL3. Barring his personal record of highest run getter for KKR ( though at a poor strike rate) . KKR is the only team to have a dubious distinction of not having qualifies for the semis even once. Its as simple perfomr or perish. If sourav was all that great then he should have been picked by other franchisee but no. Due to his star tantrums people tend to stay away. Nobody is above the game . Stars come and go but the game goes on. I support KKR because i love Kolkata . Sourav is a finished chapter. Time to move on.
