sehwag should get delhi rid of himself first... 70 odd runs in 4 matches by opener/captain and main player... that team got no future...

the name was HIND, you muslims are the invaders and are the result of rapes on widows of warriors who were forced to be muslim. this is because of politicians in India otherwise all of you people should have kicked out of India. And the country you are also the land in PAK also belong to Hindus not to you
Irfan Pathan took first 50 wickets in International cricket in record time, but after that what happened to him God knows. I think Guru Greg spoiled him by making him concentrate on batting ! Now he neither scores runs nor takes wickets !! He should consult some really good left hand bowling coach and come back.
Re: Irfan out of form for quite sometime
by sameen khan on Apr 20, 2011 02:00 PM
well in my opinion Irfan should take a retirement, he can't bowl and even can't Bat,instead of DD like use other options so that he can help them
Re: Wrong Player selection for DD
by Delhi City on Apr 20, 2011 12:15 PM
You are correct, DD is the weakest team in IPL-IV if their openers do not perform...
Sehwag can't help but back I/Pathan because Sehwag himself is not able to meet the basic requirement of an opening batsman leave aside playing the role of an effective captain.Main problem with Sehwag is his casual approach and lack of intensity. The very fact that he repeatedly gets out in similar fashion or to be more specific , gets out in identical fashion in two consecutive matches umpteen times is an indication that he doesn't doesn't do proper home work.He is giving excuse of lack of spinners but has he used the bench strength adequately ? He says Pathan is coming from injury and will take time. Then why play him at all? Or prepare Pathan adequately with both bat and ball because once he gets runs with bat his bowling will also improve.Actually Delhi is losing more on account of poor leadership rather than due to poor cricket.

Don't look for scapegoats. Did Greg Chappell remove a part of Irfan's brain that he has forgotten bowling and batting?

stop crtisising chappel for this , as no one can make u forget how to bowl and bat , and figure out this all the current crop played under him , have everyone else has forgotten bowling and batting , its the individual problem and its he who can sort out .. and sehwag has no one question anyone as he himself has not done anything makor from long time barring couple of innings in world cup

Guru Greg was having a secret mission to finish up total India team. He attacked every body including Sachin and except Rahul. But every body have come out from rubbish planning of Greg Irfan could not come out from his problem. You are right Harjot, it is his baby but .......... ????????
Re: Re: Re: Greg Chappel

Greg chappel also tried to destroy SACHIN by putting him in No.4 slot in the 2007 world cup batting orderwhereas his rightful place was No.1. This failed and India made early exit from 2007 world cup. Luckly, Sachin regained his No.1 batting spot but Irfan failed to regain his bowling form
Sehwag should start worrying about his own contribution apart from Irfan's for all the money these guys earn.
Sehwag doesn't have the patience like Tendulkar. He should realise that you can't always hit all the bowlers for 4s and 6s. He should first stay at the crease, take 1s and 2s for a few overs, study the bowlers and then go after whom he thinks he can score off. He has become a "hit out or get out" player. He can learn a few things from Dhoni,Tendulkar, Sanga and Mahale. The qucker he does, the better for Delhi Dare Devils.
