At Eden gardens the single biggest puzzle is the 'wicket'.No one knows for sure what all goes into making of it and how it would behave. It may be safer to bat first. The news from KTK circles hrs before the match that Dada is likely to join them is mischievous. Assuming it will be a normal good batting wicket , KKR certainly have an edge over the giant killers. One consolation for KKR should be that B/Mcllum has done well only against weak bowling attacks. It is unlikely he will get into even double figures against the strong KKR bowling. The 'deft touch' Mahela of course can be a threat. May be he will get out to a lose ball. Jack Kallis will have to be more judicious. Chasing a total of mere 81 last time his shot so early in the innings was indiscreet. KKR batting is likely to be tested to-day for sure.
gambhir had almost decided to quit cricket. because he was not getting break in the indian team. because sachin, sehwag and ganguly occupied 1 2 and 3 spots, gambhir was not getting to play either as an opener or as a 1 down batsman. thankfully he did not quit and carried on inspite of not getting many chances in the indian team. finally ganguly retired and he could show how good he was. same thing happening with kohli now. with sachin, sehwag and gambhir taking 1 2 and 3 spots the best 1 down player in the indian odi team not getting a chance to bat at his best position....

now sehwag is explosed ? 2008 ranji trophy sehwag fall to zaheer and left the ground for delhi so gambhir only anchored in baroda made 93 runs to save the match. there is always room at the top u have to wait and try

well said pradeep,ganguly was good when the dinusaurs used to rule the world,now he can not inspire the team.
