Gambhir made a correct decision by choosing bowl first. Warne made a big mistake by sending Watson as opener. Watson best position is number 3 or 4 where he always did well for RR.

Watson always used to open for RR . He started out in the middle order for Australia but was made to open regularly after his success in IPL . I don't remember even one occasion ( I may be wrong ) where Watson won the match for RR while batting at 3-4 .
ross taylor is RR best batsman in the 20-20 mould, thus warne's move of holding him back till no 6 flopped.exposing youngsters like faiz & raut to lee & balaji(who was getting lot of swing) was disastrous.

Absolutely. That was like gambhir holding himself back in the KKR first game loss.
