TEAMS STANDINGS STILL FLUID
by damodaran mohan on Apr 17, 2011 02:51 PM

What bounce back ? CSK didn't win, rather RCB lost because of the pathetic fielding. Can any team expect to win after dropping such crucial catches? RCB bowling also lacks sting. Batting is just two-some of Kohli-DV dependent. I don't see this team going very far because on the other hand after three rounds teams, especially the supposed to be among the weaker ones like PW, KXIP and KTK have shown tremendous turn-around. Youngsters like Paul V, R/Jadeja etc. seem to be full of confidence doing exceptionally well with the bat. On the other hand the suppose to be two stronger teams like CSK and MI look very vulnerable in their bowling. Take Malinga and Ashwin out and the two teams MI & CSK respectively can be beaten by any side even if they pile up 180plus total. Although they may still make it to the semis but in the knock-out stages could exit because of the weak bowling. DC seems to have the best bowling attack on paper but is not effective so far with only Ishant Sharma showing some form.KKR is the only side who seem to have a proper balance of batting and bowling combo and can be a strong contender for winning IPL4.

RCB
by madhusoodan on Apr 17, 2011 01:28 PM

they shud have retained
kallis,
Steyn,
uthappa,
Taylor
and cud have gone for Zaheer....
It wud have been gr8 team..
But they went for Tiwari and paid 8 crores...
tiwari is pure waste for RCB....
Yesterday if one person had Hit 12 ball 30 just like uthappa in previous match of Pune, RCB wud have won...
anyways..they have Found new hitter name Asad Pathan, who can clear the boudary easily, but he has to be little more sensible....

RCB getting thrashed!!
by Ashok Rajashekar on Apr 17, 2011 12:21 PM

Being from Karnataka, I was a big supporter of RCB in last 3 seasons but Mallyas team selection is apalling and there is hardly any karnataka player to root for RCB. Check CSK, MI they have retained their performers. Likewise, Mallyas shud hv retained Robin, Vinay, Pandey, Dravid, Kallis and Steyn. Hope they fight for the last 2 places and teach the selection panel a lesson!!

We had excellent RCB team with Kallis, Kumble, Dale steyn & Rahul Dravid.

along with Virat Kohli

& acquire
