hi, he is from mumbai, it doesn't matter what his heritage is, he could be telugu like you say, but he will be known as a mumbai player. that is how it goes. it's the same for other states too.
bottomline: valthaty is not an andhra player, he is a mumbai player.
Re: Re: All andra player are talented but not playing for DC?
by taklu on Apr 18, 2011 03:55 PM
correct. it does not matter if he is telugu, but the fact is he plays for mumbai team. so he is mumbai player , not an andhra player

He is from India, the only one state.
By the way, his parents belong to a village near Nandyalin Andhra Pradesh. But Valthaty, born and braught up in Mumbai. If he is succesful, everybody can claim and when failure, everybody will be ready to stone him.

Abey lungi idiot, get lost to your Lungiland & drown in the sea. Even here you started your North-South Shit? Remember, the World Cup was won by a team that represented the whole of India, meaning players from all zones. Never bark that the credit goes to my Zone alone.
Really a superb all rounder. Thought it was a fluke against CSK. But he proved once again his superb ability. Yusuf Pathan has now competition. Good Luck Valthaty

Paul appears to have arrived. IPL has thrown up some good talents, this is the latest addition. Along with Yusuf, Uthappa, Rayudu, Paul is adding to the list of explosive batsmen who need to be given a chance in the national ODI and T20 sides continuously for some time. He has shown his ability when chasing big totals on two occasions, which confirms his genuine talent.
valataty is an A.P. person telugu speaking.. his father went to bombay and settled there..born and baught up in bombay.. but origin of Andhra pradesh. vengsarkar is the key man in his life. Played for under 19 world cup for india, unfortunately lost his eye vision due to injury in world cup against bangladesh.. worked hard to resore his eyesight and today he is back.. hats off to you determination.

It does not matter which language you speak, its matter which state are you living at present. As per your view all mus1ims must represent Pakistan? Yusuf Pathan, Zaneer Khan, Munaf etc. LOL hahahha.

Re: Re: SAY PAUL................NOT VALTHATY
by CHATUR on Apr 17, 2011 09:30 AM
wat i meant to say is ..put the correct headline and not misleading one
It may be too early to predict anything.. If Paul can perform like this, India will get a good allrounder in form of Paul.. It would be a great relief for Dhoni & Co as they are looking for a genuine all rounder. Indian team will then be much stronger. We Indians must be happy at his performance and must appreciate his effort. Wish you good luck Paul. Hope you continue your good run and make a room in Indian Squad.

All rounder my foot, he was bowling at 99mh speed, he was lucky to get wickets...at that speed iran is better than him...
Re: Re: Paul Baba
by Aneesh Ramachandran on Apr 17, 2011 12:02 PM
hello indian icf.... you think all roucnder should bowl more than 130 or 140kmph? hahaha. The meaning of all rounder is a person who can bat and bowl well. Doeant matter whether it is spin or fast. Hope u got it now.

One of the best allrounders in cricket was Chris Harris of NZ . He never bowled a ball above 120 km/h in his life . Whats important is skill , deception in pace and length , not mere speed . By your criteria , Shaun Tait is the greatest fast bowler ever .

indian icf...Speed is not the criteria man.. if you are male u might be knowing size is not the matter... ha ha ha ha..
Re: Re: Re: Paul Baba
by indian icf on Apr 17, 2011 09:28 AM
I pity on you... speed is the criteria for all the bowlers on international circuit... anything below 120mh is not considered medium pace bowling..
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Paul Baba
by Jay on Apr 17, 2011 12:18 PM
Technically speaking Kumble is not a pacer or spinner. He managed to create a bowling style of his own and managed to be the highest wicket taker and match winning bowler for India with his hard work, discipline and determination. If one can be a successful bowler and batsman, he is allrounder. If one can merit a place in the team through batting or bowling independently (that is he can play as a pure batsman or as a pure bowler) he is TRUE or genuine allrounder. The others are utility allrounders. So far we have only Vinoo Mankad and Kapil Dev only who can be called genuine allrounders, Shastri and Prabhakar, Mohinder Amarnath (he turned part time bowler later on) were almost good as well. Speed is never a criteria.

gahahahaha so according to you irfan pathan was an all rounder while his brother is not hain?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Paul Baba
by Jay on Apr 17, 2011 12:20 PM
Both brothers are good bets for the allrounder's role. Yusuf has to improve as a bowler, Irfan has to get back his bowling.
