Because Symonds is not fully fit. After few mathches when he will be 100 % fit , he certainly will got a chance . May be he will replace the 4th foreign player Franklin , Beacause the ohter three foreign players ( Malinga , Pollard and Jacobs ) are performing pretty well.

Malinga bowling with a sling action and side arm has the ability to bring the ball on to the shoe toes than a bowler with the normal action I feel that he will use the perpendicular position of his arm at times to deliver the unplayable ball. If so he has to curb it for the better spirit of the game. His bowling action is such that he delivers the ball in front of the face of the Umpire thus confusing the batsman. Bowling pundits should look into the bowling actions of all the bowlers who delivers the ball at speeds higher than 145 kmp since there is every possibility that the wrist will change its direction in the course of delivering the ball. Oh batsman beware of Malingas and the likes of Taits.

Bakwaas analysis. Try bowling 1 ball like malinga at half his speed. If you want, then THROW the ball with that action. Let us know the result. then comment. FYI... Malinga is a unique and freakish bowler but not a illegal bowler.
