KKR MUST KEEP WINNING TO EARN HOME CROWD SUPPORT
by damodaran mohan on Apr 14, 2011 06:44 PM  | Hide replies

KKR badly needed the win against DC and will help the team gain confidence to put behind the past failures. However, still the team doesn't look ready to meet the challenges of stronger teams. The team has to effect course corrections to maintain the winning momentum if they have to win back Kolkatta crowd support and make it to the semis. The wicket keeping needs improvement by several notches as the collection is not 'neat' and can sap the confidence of the bowler.Although the catching was much improved but the ground fielding is to be improved further.Bowling also looks a bit weak with Balaji struggling to to get his past rhythm. He should work in the nets to get back his old form and should be persisted with as he is a wicket taking bowler.Batting looks settled with the batting order also clicking well. All in all , once Brett Lee, S/Hassan,Haddin etc. join KKR will look a formidable side to beat.

All said and done T20 is a random game...even a lineup of 5 top batsmen of the world can fail on a given day within a span of 20 overs...and unknown batsmen can make merry like valthaty yesterday...the best thing for KKR will be to play like a team..support each other and rest will be taken care of.

One question you must answer ?
If you are supporting Kolkotta team you must answer why you are supporting it ?

How many Kolkotta players in playing 11 ?
maximum 1 or 2 ? sometimes not even 1 player,

IF some bussiness men are doing bussiness for their fancies, why are you crying hell ?

Insted of KKR it should be SRK
like wise bangalore team can be called as malyateam insteed of RCB, because there is not even one-bangalore player in playing-11 , ,,, he is just fooling the people by having the city name !!

Who ever dont agree , please explain ? Open question.

Why are ppl crying foul when the franchisee owners are picking who they want irrespective of city background. Ultimately its your prerogative to support a team bearing ur city's name. After all SRK or Mallya pay the millions for the players not the ppl.People only pay a few bucks to watch the live matches. How could they demand the owner to pick the side they want?

There's no fooling business involved here. If ppl think they are being fooled then so be it. Who cares??

RR will be beaten badly by KKR. Wait and see. RR is nothing. Shane Warne will be bashed by strong batters.

hello, this is like club cricket...
u must know manchester united or chelsea or arsenal dont have many players from england but english people support these clubs.so it does not matter.the players will be changed but the institution will be same..so always better to support an institution.
