Capacity of Eden Gardens 70000 spectators Average attendance of a KKR Game 20000 spectators
Average price of a ticket Rs 500
Loss per match (70000-20000)*500 = Rs 2.5 crore
Loss in 7 home matches = Rs 2.5 crore * 7 = Rs 17.5 crores
SRK losts Rs 17.5 crores in order to save Rs 1.8 crores, without considering other losses like poor show of SRK films in Kolkata, KKR merchandise sales etc.

Come out of emotion dude. He is an proven businessman. With all respect to Saurav, he could not any thing for KKR. Its not about money to paid for Dada, its about combination of team and spirit of squad. You get limited budget to buy a team and i think KKR has great team this year, Aussies are yet to join them.

Then please explain why SRK has softened his stance on Ganguly and even requested him to come to the stadium for the remaining KKR matches.

Thats again an business man move. First not picking him for the team and now by calling him, he is satisfying the ego of people like u. Just remember, every great player has to go one day and Ganguly is no exception. He was great at his time but its better for him to stay away now from the game.

Mr Chatterjee, instead of calculating the SRK's loss, u should be think about the situation of Mr Saurabh Ganguly..whose unnecessary and unjustified hike in his participation fee in IPL auction cost him the IPL..he had almost flopped in all the 3 previous IPL shows...how did he manage to think that in such a disastrous note any franchise would choose him...bad fo him, bad for fans..but definatley not as much bad for KKR and SRK...Bye Bye Ganguli...

Sourav was the 6th highest run getter in IPL - 3. So is this your idea about a flop star? Additionally, he had taken some wickets too... And remember that Sourav does not need any symapathy from guys like you...
Seems a quality player,But will be get a chance after Lee,Shakib, Haddin and Pattison joins team....I doubt...Kallis,Lee and Shakib make themselves automatic in Playing XI. Now one place left for which Morgan and Haddin will be in race.Tendo would have a better option vs CSK
he crashed to another feilder in match against Deccan, he was really struggling, i thot he is seriously injured and will be out of IPL, but some how recovered...
