Cricket World Cup is far better economically. Imagine, India has spent 30,000 crores approx $ 4.2 Billion and that money will never be recovered. Similarly china could have spent many billions together for olympics and that will never come back. India has hosted 2 world cups till now which are far better economical than Asian Games or Common wealth Games. We should let developed countries like Japan,US,UK or better China to host these mega sports events and spend money in training our athletes so they can win medals. Something like Jamica will not host olympics in next 20 years but Usain Bolt and others can triumph Jamican flag in all olympics.

Sell these Stadiums to Kalmadi and allow him to host next CW games in Sri Lanka.
