Shane Watson
by srikanth hegde on Apr 11, 2011 03:31 PM

Shane Watto Watson hits an amazing 185 out of 95 balls with 15 fours and 15 sixes. Australia scores 175 runs in 17 overs. Watson would have scored 200 runs very easily had not the Bangla score was just 226! He is still not out!

Race to Bottom contest - DC, DD, KXI
by vasanth m on Apr 11, 2011 03:13 PM

Deccan chargers, Delhi daredevils, Kings XI worst teams of 4th edition of IPL 4. Thrown away (not retained) gud players and bought weak players. Its the mistake they have committed by their own hands. Even a layman cant think of leaving such gud players. These 3 teams will be fighting for bottom position.

Shane Watson for RR

Watto is taking IPL extemely seriously - practising in a real match situation. 15 Fours and 15 Sixes in an individual score of 185 in 96 balls. Absolute carnage. Once he is in the line up, RR will be quite formidable.

Once he comes back to RR, they ll be a terrific team!! They need to get their bowlers in order like they did in first IPL.. Watoo n Rossie!!! What a power hitting combo.. Along with Warne n Botha, they can form a formidable foreign combination.. Dravid can monitor the Indian youngsters.. They indeed is a team transformed this year.. I dont think they are going to miss Yusuf that much.. With the power hitters playing ODIs until now, they ll look to build innings rather than simply slog!!

Another team would have joined the race for last 4, i.e Rajasthan Royals. However, they had the intelligence to pick me...

More No. of teams... Less the quality of cricket...
by jakkamma on Apr 11, 2011 02:47 PM  | Hide replies

As there are 10 teams now,

do we have minimum 70 quality Indian players who can play decent 1st class cricket?

Except Mumbai & Chennai.. all teams have chosen almost new teams... they didn;t picked local players... through which fans lost the enthu.. of the teams they supported...

Ex. I am a RCB fan, but RCB do not have our local heroes Uthappa, Dravid, Manish Pandey, Vinay Kumar... and foreign players who have done well in the previous seasons.. ext. Ross Taylor, Dale Styne, Kallis etc...

then how can i support RCB? I am not at all interested in this team... neither i am watching the matches...

CSK only supports the local players... MI left out Nayar, Rahane to other teams.. Not sure why they need to bid that much on Rohit Sharma when they had Rahane who is the best Mumbai Ranji player.. It cost them too much..

lol. Because the players knew how to play him in an ODI unlike T20 where players are forced to go tonkers and most of the wickets he got are against kids. No wonder you are a puke. Absolutely no knowledge.

IPL - Indian Premier League (its not International Premier League). If they don't want to share this pot of gold with any player porki guy, then so be it. In my party, I decide who I invite. Just because someone lives next to me shouldn't consider their birth right to be entertained in my party!!!!!

And if the notion is that Malinga didn't perform in final to safeguard his IPL interest, then there is a message in it. Got it!!!

And why Malinga didn't get 5-for in WC final - coz he was playing against the world's best, not with them. Yearn! Yearn!! and more ....
