Why I support IPL
by wibas wibas on Apr 12, 2011 02:04 AM

I will fully support watching IPL4 than other ICC tournaments, because the bright players like Robin Utthappa or Laxmipathy Balaji or Goni they have chance to show their talent in IPL and moreover these boys have a way to earn money. If not for IPL, will Robin Utthappa has any chance to come back to Indian team? May be Laxmipathy Balaji is long forgotten.

ICC tournaments are for ICC or BCCI greedy men to earn money and enjoy in AC rooms. The players are not paid to their talent, think of it- Munaf and others are only C grade players. Without IPL only Sachin, Dhoni earn money.

While in IPL players of any country either Decartes of Netherlands or our own Desi bright youngsters who have taken up career of cricket be it from Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi all of them have some source of income.
Lets support IPL :-)

If someone is getting millions of dollars, lets be happy, but only top few are getting millions, the rest guys are only earning Lakhs if not thousands. Without IPL, they will be only playing Ranji Trophies...

is making fun of cricket. No one now a days like to see this fake matches. What one can expect from crore pathi cricketers? The matches have become boring and spoiling good name of cricket. It is high time ICC ban these gilli danda 20-20s and limit cricket to 50 over each matches & Test matches. It really pained to see star cricketers like Laxman and Dravid playing in IPL and struggling to cope up with others to learn how to forget techniques and play base ball cricket.

Why should I oppose when players like Laxman or Dravid can still earn good money in Cricket?
If they both play only test matches they make only half of the money, but in IPL after getting sold at their base prices they have some way of earning some good money. Whats wrong with it. I admire Dravid or Laxman who gave eternal wins for team-India, remember Dravid's class double hundred in 2003 Aussies series, imagine Laxman's latest 96 in SA test series. Let them earn some money.. I am very happy to hear that.

thats not true...
If Laxman and Dravid cudn't adjust they shud call for quit, still they will be remembered as gr8's, Look at Kumble who himself quit even though he Lead RCB to finals, semi finals from their pathetic first outing, if they can't play perticular format why blame format ?

Imperial Paisa League (IPL)
by Krishna Krishna on Apr 10, 2011 06:05 AM  | Hide replies

After seeing the nail biting World Cricket Cup matches in India with our players getting us the national honours, these IPL matches is like GILLI DHANDA matches, organised by the filthy rich for the newly rich people to watch and waste our time with a diluted form of commercial cricket for selling their tooth pastes, washing powders, cars, whisky, movies and all trinkets.Fabulous lot of money is thrown in these games, the players ar treated like horses in a race. They just get worn out with an overdose of cricket as they get paid, just like the commentators, organisera and also there ar new Lalit MODIS to replace the old fellow who swindled one and all and is now absconding from India.I hope the Income Tax Department gets TDS for all transactions. If the BCCI have a lot of money, they may be asked to spend and uplift existing games facilities and diversify to other sports, that is make the people to become sportsman and not be just spectators for the entertainment.India has 7 lakh villages needing attention.A healthy India tantamounts to a wealthy India. Will the authorities look into the accounts and see if the players are really paid their dues or is it just another money laundrying trick? The danger with this type of cricket is that they will be worn out and will be unfit to play International Matches for India. We don't want to loose in that stage, having gone up the ladder.

Quite true.. Cricket is heading towards Football in Europe. Players are earning in millions...what audiences are getting nothing.. and when big matches comes, 90% seats are allocating to corporate world and others people associated with BCCI. And, common cricket lovers facing latthi by police. This is sad state of affair in Cricket in India.
