If media gets too kind to persons when they are not doing what they are supposed to do, our country will go to dogs. When you are in a profession such as cricket, you should not expect garlands etime - even when you are not doing well - you should also be ready to recieve bricks.
If you are wise enough. you should make your foundation strong by collecting the bricks thrown at you - your son Yuvaraj has done that. Please don't lower his dignity by giving such statements. Even Sachin has got the same treatment when he was not doing well for some reason. His family members have maintained his dignity by not trying to interfere in his business with unneccesary comments.
Sharad pawar is busy watching cricket whereas many farmers are committing suicide... With so much money being spend on cricketers ..no wonders this particular sport will excel...but look at the pathetic condition of our overall sports...in a population of 1.25 billion just 3 medals at olympic platform..where the entire world participates...

How much money you have and if have a lot and want to invest on anything let me know I will tell where to invest and an what and we will see whether you will be interested on investing on losing things. Everyone want to invest to gain something and to lose everything what we have. this is also like wise
If India would have lost Worldcup,then media would have made Dhoni culprit for his decision to include Sreesanth in place of Ashwin/Pathan...Indian media would have made his life miserable by showing all negative points against him,media can make/break Celebrities.
The channels mostly do negative reporting with sole intention to browbeat those who dares to think differently.The bottom line is to telecast lies so many times that it starts resembling the truth.Indian TV channels are nothing but hype with no reporting ethics or investigative journalism.2G scam is a point in reference where no homework was done by media though it was in news for over 3 years before CAG report nailed UPA & its PM.
Yuvraj was arrogant.Yuvraj was rmoody.Yuvraj was careless.Yuvraj was over confident.....Media showed him the mirror.Thankfully Yuvraj was wise.He changed from the then on and today comes out as a humble responsible and better person.

All news headings say India's BCCI team won the World Cup Cricket. But Bupati and Paes won the Ericsson trophy and are the World Number ONE in Tennis doubles. No news headlines. So much hype for Cricket. Why? Viswanth Anand was called a foreigner after owning all his contribution. Very sad! Only Cricket like the Congress and Ghandi family for India!

also point to be noted that cricket is the common boy's game whereas tennis still is the game of the rich,average Indian familt cannot afford membership in those expensive tennis clubs.

Ireland play football more than cricket. So Obrien's Century may not excite their media. Same is the case with India where Cricket is more popular. Hoever BCCI is funding other sports which many of us dont know
