Nothing great in one good inning after 40 failures. No other player is so lucky to get so many chances. Any player if allowed to play after 30-40 repeated failures, will click once a while. Dhoni is still only a lucky & political captain.
Politician dhoni contribution with bat in 2007 T-20 wcup as well as 2011 wcup (exluding final) was nil. He is simply lucky.
Have you guys ever noticed ? Dhoni does not appear in any pic. He is in the back ground when the whole team is celebrating. Now, thats how leaders are made. He came out batting when the pressure was so high and won. But when the celebration was on, he went behind. Thats why we won the cup. Great leaders make great things.

As expected before wcup, most noticeable contribution came from match winners seniors like sachin (max runs), Zaheer (max wickets), Yuvi (allround performance) & sehwag (quick scoring). Dhoni & all his chamcha(youngistan) were big failure & just clicked in one in 9 matches. Top performer for india 1) Yuvraj - 380 runs 15 wickets ( All round performance) 2) Zaheer - 21 wickets (Highest wicket taker) 3) Sachin - 450 runs (Highest run getter)- Architecht for Q/F, S/F win & tie against england. 4) Sehwag - 350 runs with highest strike rate- 5) Gambhir - 375 Runs (team builder almost scored all matches)
Remaning all were just in supporting role & dhoni being worst as he failed in 8 matches out of 9. All top performers were seniors but that joker dhoni praised junior for the success- thats why he is called politician of cricket.

He is not a great leader but simply political , cunning & lucky. He is not liked by most of performing teammates as all of them know he is a liability to team who clicks once in 40 matches.Even kartik & parthiv patel will perform better than him if given so many chances

just after the win,i switched the channel from star sports to star news and am surprised to see the headlines saying sachin ka sapna pura hua repeatedly....no mention of gambhir-dhoni's contribution to the win.Most channels and cricket personalities are talking about sachin instead of gambhir and dhoni the real heroes.Sachin has never scored in pressure and critical situattions.He is number one choker and should be part of south african team.He and harbhajan should be permanently replaced from one-day and t-20 team.They are burden on team and for captain.Everybody praising sachin even after his huge failure in final.Even sachin did not like it.He is a great player but its fact that he is a choker in critical situations and special in critical chase cases even dravid plays better than him where as holding nerve is concerned.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hiked retainership and participation fees across all forms of the game for cricketers selected for international matches on Thursday, even as it downgraded out-of-form batsman Yuvraj Singh and promoted Suresh Raina to the top bracket. Yuvraj has been pushed down from A to the B group in the BCCI’s gradation system, with a substantial lowering of retainership fee.
Indians are overwhelmed with world cup victory. We are all again the same proud indians. The players are gifted with rain of Money. But what about the sacrifice of Sandeep unnikrishnan, Soldiers of Kargil war and so many others who gave their life for the country. The promises of the government to their family members never turned into reality.Are all these great sacrificers recognized by our government?
Mr.Sharad Pawar and BCCI high jacked this world cup with multi million dollar bribe before the start of world cup for achieving multiple objectives. According to hot cables Mr.Pawar gave huge amount of money to opponents to under perform against India to clear each stage without much trouble. Conspiracy theory as follows,
1. BCCI was afraid of losing popularity of cricket in India and it’s after effects on it’s multi billion dollar cricket business in subcontinent due to world cup starvation after 1983.BCCI (Mr.Pawar) vowed to bring the cup at any cost to boost every department in it’s business. 2. Indian population were humiliated in 2003 world cup final defeat against Aussies in wanderers and semi final defeat against Sri Lanka in 1996 at Eden gardens. So as a remedy to heal the wound of 1.2 billion cricket crazies (especially for Mr.V.Kambli), BCCI decided that this world cup should be lifted by India at any cost by defeating Australia in quarter final and Sri Lanka in Final.

5. BCCI decided that a win over Australia in quarter final or semi final will give mental satisfaction for Indians against Australian racists and by doing so, Congress-Pawar can turn it in to votes!!!. 6. BCCI decided that a win over Pakistan at any stage of the tournament (preferably before final) will double the confidence of the Indian team for couple of years, so that BCCI can terminate the service (cost saving was BCCI’s mindset) of team India’s mental trainer hired by BCCI.

unfortunately football & hockey is played by more than 100 countries & not like 8 countries in cricket. I was in paris/Switzerland during 24th march-2 April & found no one understand even c of cricket with no newspaper covering any thing about cricket. Also based on ability, dhoni can't score even fifty in international cricket leave alone final. Check dhoni recors in last 25 ODIs. No fifty in that.Then why he was continued in team
Lanka got over confident when they put 274 on board.They behaved as if they won the match when they got Sachin and Viru out early.They forgot that there is plenty of batting left behind.When they reliased this they started slipping in field got desperate but it was too late
This was in deed a great moment for all Indians especially for those who have witnessed 1996 semis.It took 15 years to heal the wounds
