Veeru is in tremendous for. Of course we need to get a good solid satrt.Dhoni needs to gear up.Fielding is excellent.Bowling has improved a lot over days.so fingers crossed..

You are wrong! Srilanka is marginally better in bowling, but India is far better in Batting and fielding is almost same of both the side... But home advantage is with India! 60:40 chances of India
Ricky Ponting played a amazing knock in the 2003 world cup final.We did not have the home advantage at that time. Playing on bouncy wickets in south africa our performance was outstanding.Sachin was awesome. But Australia was a better team on the day.Hope India wins today.

absolutely right. This team at South Africa failed miserably just afew months back. 2003 team bowling attack was exceptional with SRinath, Nehra, jahir in full form. Actually Kumble had to warm the bench for all the matches to make way for Bhajji and extra semer.

U fool, it was blunder of gangooly to have Dinesh Mongia as 7th batsman to make kumble to warm up the bench. that bludner has costed very heavily. when 6 batsmen failed, how the 7th will perform?
Any one who is familiar with the militant trade unions of Kerala will understand the joke. The unions insist on payment even when the work is done by machines. i.e. a 500 ton machine can only be off loaded from the ship by crane but militant unions will insist on payment called 'Nokku cooli' roughly translated as 'payment for watching'. Now here the joke is that Sreesanth has been appointed as the president of this union as he is a non playing wage earner!

typical brainless response. By that count piyush chawla, ashwin, pathan and even nehra were out for a few games..Sreesanth is a genuine fast bowler who is talented but is a highly temperamental and emotional players..fast bowlers need to be tightly wound..that gives them flair, attitude and gives them the requisite inner fire. The only soft spoken fast bowler was srinath....look around you..fast bowlers are a dying breed...the best ones were temperamental...lilee, thompson, hughes, ambrose, akhtar, akram, willis, donald...etc. The problem is in india we expect and demand conformity and define flair as something within the confines of what we know and can control..when a free spirit like sreesanth comes along we demand him to tone down...this is like neutering a pit bull...control him and work with him..unleash him when he plays..so what if he leaks runs..so do most of our other bowlers..sreesanth may not be menacing but his aggression and fire are a rare commodity matched only by perhaps harbhajan singh...
