I tend to agree with you.

What the news channel are resorting to is ambush marketing. Further, they have fooled the Indian public by misreporting or partial reporting.

Let the courts decide and compensate the ICC.

ICC ONLY WANT TO MAKE MONEY FROM INDIA. THEY DO NOT ANYTHING ELSE.

THEIR STAFF WILL COME AND INSULT OUR NATIONAL FLAG. THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE THAT MUCH BRAIN TO GIVE RESPECT TO THE NATIONAL FLAG.

WHAT IS THE INFRINGEMENT THAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT? ALL THESE ARE RUBBISHES TRYING TO EARN MORE MONEY OUT OF INDIA.

Tax on PF Withdrawals by Salary Calss/ Exemptio to ICC for Crorer
by onnu kadaise on Apr 01, 2011 11:48 PM  | Hide replies

See the Governance. Govt decided to tax PF Withdrawls which is the life line poor class and middle class, exempt the Income of ICC in Crores and Crores of rupees. This they call Governance.

Salary people do not have a Orginased United Forum, and split across Political parties. So the Govt cheat them and support big fish like ICC - to leagally loot in Crores.

Cricket World Cup gets Rs.45 crore tax relief
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has landed a Rs.45 crore ($10 million) bonanza with the Indian cabinet Thursday exempting the income earned during the World Cup from tax.
At a meeting presided over by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the cabinet approved the finance ministry's proposal to exempt the 2011 World Cup from income tax.
"The financial implication will be nearly Rs.45 crore," the finance ministry said in a statement.
The cabinet had approved a proposal in 2005 to amend the Income Tax Act, 1961, to exempt the income of both residents and non-residents arising from an international sporting event conducted in India.

BCC IS A STATE WITHIN A STATE
by Visweswara Rao on Apr 01, 2011 09:49 PM  | Hide replies

ICC managed to draw a benefit of Rs 45 crores when some stupid indians are buying mumbai one final tickets in black at Rs 1.5 lakhs. It is nice to Know that both the indian Government and the public are equally stupid and idiot.
The problem with Indians is that their memory recall is very short.
Long long ago, it was confirmed that BCC is a State within a State. Now, our greatest Indian Leader and the missed P.M ( next to Advani) and my adorable leader (when i was 19 years old), should be an Indian and stoop so low as to manupalite the Indian givernment and the general public to give tax sops to ICC.
The Indian Customs have confisicated the world cup and demanding tax of about Rs 40 Lakhs.
It is rather a pity that some National leader are indeed selfish and would ditch the country to manage a few pennies for the white masters and their Mickey mouse children.
God bless india,
