Afridi has surpirsed me in this worldcup

After the controversies hez been in like damaging the pitch and biting the ball which made it appear he doesnt beleive in playing the game the right way, always gave a feeling that the next mad moment was just round the corner. Afridi has redeemed his image to some extent after the way he handled the team and the sensible comments he has given. Hope he stays this way, pakistan will do well if he continues to lead them the way he did in this worldcup.

Sports Spirit
by SWAPNASIS NANDA on Apr 01, 2011 04:27 PM

Afridi really showed a brave sports spirit. Even after loosing the match from India which is generally not acceptable to Pakistani people, he reacted with a clever voice. Its a cricket match not a war. Why people of Pakistan don't cry and blame pakistan players when they loose a match from other country. Why it happens when it means to India only. These hate towards India never build up a relation with India. The way Afridi has to tried to explain the nation, no doubt he is a great player and we all should pay him the respect.

The same should be expected from the Indian fans as Afridi trying to explain the Pakistani fans.
