dhoni should give full freedom to sree as any offences in this match will have a bearing only in the future matches..let sree spit on teh faces of sanga or dilshan, the umpires at the max ban him for one year but cant ban him in this match itself..hence, he should go all out to disturb teh concentrations of lankans....

He will. I would still like to see the old Sreesanth before slapgate with a glad face playing.
1. for the killing of our own tamilians and teh destruction of temples since 1973. 2. for the 1996 semi loss, i hope, our team should make every lankans shed tears.. 3. for the loss of 200 sharjah finals by record margin(we were 54 all out) 4. for the 2007 world cup loss 5. for randiv no ball to viru 6. last but not the least, for our great tendlia who has given so much in the last 21 years and would most probably be playing his last ODI match..

i grew up watching the likes of gavaskar and kapil when i was young..i still remember hearing the commentary in the radio when sachin made his debut(at that time, no live telecast was there for that series)..i have been following the world cups from 1987 onwards(have a vague memory of 1983 cup)..this world cup i feel has not generated that thrill when compared to 92 96 99 or 2003..may be all teh cricket boards have realised that due to ipl, spectators have lost the interest in major tourneys like teh world cup..hence, most of the matches looks artificial..
to me, 2003 world cup was the best in terms of the spirit with which every team played, i mean match fixing, including pak...
pak used to be dangerous when zaheer abbas, imran and javed used to play...windies was more devastating with the likes of richards marshall..england were also good with botham gatting gower in them..aus used to be nuts..india were bits and pieces team...anyways, india will win and should win by hook or crook..

The best team for the game against Sri Lanka is 1. Sewhag. 2. Tendulkar. 3. Virat Kolhi or Gambhir. 4. Raina. 5. Yuvraj Singh. 6. Yusuf Pathan. 7. Dhoni. 8. Ashwin. 9. Zaheer. 10. Harbhajhan. 11. Sreesanth.
• Munaf & Nehra did not bow exceptionally well yesterday as many people think. It was due to the Pitch conditions, Semi-Final pressure and most importantly the weak batting order of the Pakistan team that led to their downfall.
It’s great news that Nehra is already out of the world cup due to injury. Surely, Ashwin will replace him inspite of Dhoni’s antics.
• Gambhir/Kolhi should be replaced with Pathan, & Munaf should be replaced with Sreesanth. With this combination, we can comfortable beat Srilanka. With the same combination, India would have won against Pakistan with a margin of more than 50 runs.
• Since, Srilanka having a better batting lineup than Pakistan & also their batting order extends upto N0-7 in Mathews; it would be foolish if Dhoni plays with the same team that played against Pakistan. Let’s hope that Dhoni selects the best team.
If Sri Lankans foolishly play an injured Murali instead of Randhiv (Who is a quality bowler) & oldie Chaminda Vaas instead of Mathews/Dilhara Fernando, India can beat Sri Lanka comfortably.
