HOW COME TALENT IS ONLY IN BRAHMINS AND FC HINDUS, SINCE CRICKET WAS PLAYED IN INDIA 90% TO 100% ARE FROM BRAHMINS AND DURING BJP GOVERMENT THEIR WAS 100% BRAHMINS. BRAHMINS CONSTITUTE LESS THAN 2% OF INDIAN POPULATION AND FC LESS THAN 8% BUT STILL HAVE 100% ACCESS TO CRICKET AND GOVERMENT JOBS. HYPOCRITE BAAS...TDS.

There were many of my class mates who were selected in Quote basis, Most of them not completed the B.E course, Very few of them completed with lot of difficulty,
Brush up your knowledge first,,, cricket is played in Talent basis not on Caste basis, Such fools like to divide the nation on caste line

Reservation in technical courses & civil services is root cause of inefficiency in our country.How can a person be allowed to read medicine or study Engineering without merit? Will u agree to get operated by a doctor who made it under quota your child even if you happen to be from reserved community?The politicians in India made a mockery of reservation allowed only for 10 yrs as a special case & has used it to destroy the fabric of nation & has become a tool in hands of selected few communities enjoying the benefits.The best that we as a nation should have done is to make education & all facilities free till 12th for these communities but no reservation.
I think the BCCI dint expect the strong media reporting regarding Gavaskar's exclusion - esp the headlines reading his dropping more prominantly than the appointments.
Then now are trying to douse the fires by giving some lame excuses.

Senthil,you must agree that because of Dhoni's batting in Semi final,CSK won the IPL3 and because of his batting and shrewed captaincy ,CSK won CLT20.
IPL is professional game and Dhoni is getting his team of choice and is able to deliver.
But in the case of Indian team,he is less fortunate due to favouritism in selection..he is not getting the best team.Ganguly had the best team under his possession which included Sachin,Dravid,Ganguly himself,Laxman,Kumble,Harbhajan,Zaheer,Sehwag,etc,etc.. Ganguly was intentionally not allowing Sehwag to succeed by hanging on to the opener's position.Further he did not allow Dhoni a position,favouring Parthiv Patel,Deep Dasgupta and Dinesh Karthik.Because of Ganguly,Hemang Badani,Robin Singh,Murali Karthik and Charanjeet Singh had to lose their careers.Even Gambhir performed fantastically in test under Dhoni.He never got the confidence to grow under Ganguly. So,I cannot accept that Ganguly was the best captain of India.I feel Dhoni is much matured,brave,balanced and shrewed captain. You may be a great player but not the best captain.That is proved by Sachin.Inspite of having the best players in his team,Mumbai Indian did not succeed.All other teams given chances to new comers to perform like Jaydev Unadkat,Murli Vijay,Ashwin,Naman Ojha,S Trivedi,etc.But Sachin just given one match each to D.Kulkarni and A.N.Ahmed and made them really frustrated and their careers are doomed.He does not know how to promote cricketers.

i dont think u know cricket well .Only 11 players can play at a time for India . U have listed almost 20 which is not possible ..
Dhoni always blamed others for the less , he keeps the blame on others .Where ganguly used to have collective approach ..And u say he did not allow sehwag to play well . See the first 20 innings scores of sehwag . He gave chances to him inspite of initial failure . I feel u hate ganguly much .
Dhoni is india's best cool captain , but ganguly was india's best aggressive captain

Dude!!! You seriously need to apply some cricketing brain before coming out with whacky statements. Robin Singh was 36 when he was dropped. Also he was a bits and pieces player and was neither a specialist batsman nor a bowler. It has been two years that Ganguly has not been the captain. What is stopping Hemnag Badani from coming in now. The fact that he was not even picked for the IPL speaks loads about his talent. Same applies to Murali Kartick--what is stopping him from coming into the team now that Ganguly is no longer the captaiin. Your comment about Sehwag is also hillarious.

Jokes apart,I feel Dhoni can be considered the best Indian captain ever,if India wins world cup next year under him and hangs up his boots on an appropriate time and not hang on like Ganguly to be unceremoniously kicked out by the selectors..I was really a fan of Ganguly through most part of his career..especially his season in England when he removed his shirt and showed his MuscularBody to NagmaAnd the world..
