Modi's watches
by antarean on Sep 29, 2010 09:36 PM  | Hide replies

It is a shame that Indian sports is manned by people like Modi & Kalmadi, who favor themselves first before thinking of national pride. If there are games for corruption, nepotism, and sycophancy, Indians will win hands down, sweeping most of the medals. India is turning out to be a nation of selfish people, be it in politics, sports or any other sphere, who only think about enriching and empowering themselves at the expense of everything else, including the nation. God save India.

Modi will akin to Musharraf
by Vijay Badgeri on Sep 29, 2010 09:34 PM

He will go on pointing fingers to others and blame them instead of telling the fact.

Now a days, he cannot return to India as he claims, his life has threat from underworld. Read it carefully, Only people with shady dealings are targetted by underworld. Show me a case where in they have targeted ordinary citizen.

pawars and shrivasans are neither clean nor trustworthy...only thing is that they do irregularities within limits...and there is feeling of sharing between these guys...modi wanted to be larger than life and wanted to eat the entire pie...in democracy this cannot be accepted...he refused and is stands isolated...life has taught a good lesson to him

Modi did irregularities outside the limit since he has to keep them inside the limit.

If one person had to be given credit for success of IPL, it will be Modi. He deserved all that he has taken, because he gave all that was needed to make this such a success. He made the world look at this event with an awe. I dont think any one else in any field has created that awe factor.

Having said that, he souldnt have fudged the accounts. Also, it is quite possible that he had bribed some people (politicians/mafia) to run the whole event without interruptions with this money.

Brahmin VS Baniya
by Mahakavi jollydoss on Sep 29, 2010 09:11 PM  | Hide replies

Usually these two work well together. A brahmins, especially the south indian kind make for excellent allies, especially with those with power and wealth. They will crawl and creep and kiss the feet of those they want to impress, but once they have gotten what they want, they will pull the rug from under the feet of their masters. Lalit Modi was stupid to have fallen foul of Srinivasan, the cement company guy, owner of chennai superkings and now one of the top guys at BCCI. Srinivasan and Chennai super kings are even more dirty than Lalit Modi, Srinivasan is a giant pig when it comes to fixing things, Lalit Modi is just a fly. Atleast Modi copied ICL and contributed to the success of IPL, Dirty fixer Srinivasan just manipulated the whole damn thing to his benefit.

You need to mind your language. You 3rd class guys survive on brahmin intelligence only. Better think twice before you puke here. Brahmins are the worst hit by politics. GOT IT?

Parting gifs from British.
by guru on Sep 29, 2010 09:00 PM  | Hide replies

Two things britishers left with us after draining our natural resources.
1. A word called SORRY.
2. Cricket
In india we give most importance to three useless people.
1. Politicians who happened to be the criminals
2. Cricketrs
3. Film personalities
All these three people are useless for the country.
