only the name of two or three people come mostly ie Pawar Modi and dalmia. Is BCCI their private property ? . they r just stuck to this like the ants which stick to the jaggary.
Our hearty congrats to Mr.Anil Kumble on being named as the Chairman of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.Definately he will prove his selection, and everybody in Karnataka and else were will wish him ALL THE BEST.
Notices go to RR,K XI n IPL Kochi but nothing happens to the Chennai Super Kings nor the team in which Sharad Pawar and his daughter r involved ! In our country any thing can happen at the hands of the politicians.Gavasker is dropped from the governing council and Dalmia is back! I dont know why God is quite and not giving miserable punishment to the majority of Indian politicians.
There were days when we had the Ranji Trophy having great fallowing, with Zonal matches. Most of us felt that with cricket becoming so popular, the BCCI would have enough and more funds.Yes,that has happened and we thought that every village in India,we could get good playing fields for cricket, hockey or football. The money earned would be utilised to improve sports in general and not cricket alone. But we never thought that cricket will be hyjacked by the business community, advertisers and hoarders and brockers who will buy the players. Now,more than ever before corruption has taken hold of sports like in the case of politics,MPs and MLAs care to stand for the elections just to make money. The present racket is getting much worse with those who have been charge sheeted being exonerated and reinstated to rob more efficiently than ever before. The IPL sounds like the Imperial Paisa League and the BCCI sounds like Big Criminalised Corruption of India. Is it not about time that these money swindling racket be stopped and such institutions be scrapped for good and try to improve real sporting activity.
