every now & then when a bowler get injured munaf patel will be cled up as replacement only to sit in bench.Why he is not in either of the challenger teams? How many challengers should piyush chawla play to prove himself. The best spinners in the country are murali kartik & ramesh pawar.they dont find place in any team. there was a bowler named kamrankhan who played for rajasthan in IPL and was hailed as the next best thing.where is he now?

they are playing good cricket at domestic level. biggest flop when it comes to international level. when they comes as a replacement players, pressure is on them. that succumbs more. but someday we will have better replacement
Mr.Srikant was poor performer when he was playing. Now he is showing that he can never be good selector. That is his greatness that he selected " Sir Kartik " and " All time great"Rohit Sharma". I hope he will not pick them in world cup

For a loaaaaferrrr like u its a typical NI message. I am also a SI but that does not mean the whole Indian team is picked from TN.. why were kartik n vijay selected despite repeated failures after giving countless chances in africa for tri series? if playing in IPL itself is the sole criterion then why were not vinay kumar, robin uttappa, ambati rayudu selected? ur msg is a typical chauvinistik TN message.

i m from KARNATAKA.. but the issue is not related to players from Karnataka alone. Why is Ajinkya rahane, Manoj tivari not being considered??

even Sachin had hit his first century after 79 ODIs, karthik/vijay are replacement players, they are not being part of team unlike Jadeja.

we are not worried.. during 1998-99, there were 7-8 players in Indian team from Karnataka. Some settled and some made way for others. If a player does not perform, he should be replaced with others.. there are many capable players other than those from tn. what is happening nowadays(after srikkkannt took over as chief selector) if a person fails from TN, other player from TN itself is selected. days are not far when Aniruddha Srikkant gets a chance in indian team..

ask ur selector.. selection is not based on performance in IPL/CL alone. recently, i heard the domestic help of srikkkaannnthh is vying for a spot in Indian team..
