Pujara or Rahane?
by naveen dhanerwal on Sep 28, 2010 08:54 AM  | Hide replies

wonder why everyone was shouting Pujara, Pujara and Pujara when Rahane has a much better avg than him! Rahane is just 200 runs short of him playing some 20 odd innings less than him.
If domestic performance is the key to get a shot in the team Rahane was the first to be choosen!

Naveen

Rahane comes from Mumbai and West Zone. Nayar scored 150 odd against South Africa before there series but he was ignored for test side. Ranji champions are at bottom of the picking order for national sides

pujara the future prospect showing y he is rated highly by all with his patient fifty. n rahane also did his part - hitting century to wake up selectors, to think beyond rohit sharmas n jadejas.

Maybe youth will get opportunity by the time they get old! Exceptions are Gavaskar and Tendulkar.
