Poor Bowling
by Mehul Mehta on Sep 24, 2010 02:11 PM  | Hide replies

Just look at the bowling averages, not even 1 under 30. Especially Zaheer and Harbhajan very over-rated. 72 & 85 Tests and still averages above 30. They wouldn't even make it in to teams like Australia, Pakistan, England, South Africa. And they are the main stays of our Team. God! pls send some bowlers.

I partly agree..
Wat u said is 100% applicable to Harbhajan... he is highly overrated especially keeping in mind dat mostly conditions in India are favourable for Spinners...
Zaheer hasn't performed exceptionally well ever but he has been there or there about... Same point of conditions go in his favour...
But yeah I agree India need more bowlers... and some quality ones for sure... Mithun, Goni, Dinda etc. are not gud for even being considered...

I agree he is not.. but where do we find bollinger from? We have no option but to choose from wat we have... Isn't it.

unfortunately i havn't heard of him but yes there surely are many many better bowlers.. but from d option available, i.e., among d ones playing domestic cricket... only Zaheer, Nehra, Shreesanth, Ishant and Munaf and yes R.P. Singh and Irfan are options... I wud b most happy if sum1 new is found (provided he is not like Mithun, Dinda etc.)

very tricky situation in mohali some says it
assist pace, but the dr.
ashok malhotra says the
pich will be slow and
low..
so three seamers in a
side is not wise decision...

i agree but both playing both spinners wud b almost useless... there is no option but to rely on sehwag as d 2nd one

its high time we indian stop spending money on these white elephants called indian cricket team.millions of rupees are wasted on their maintenance rather this money shud be used for education healthcare and infrastructur projects. These good for nothing fellas shud be asked to fend for themselves rather than giving them millions for playing one season.
