Cricket --will it survive?
by LG on Sep 24, 2010 03:50 PM

matches have lost their credibility after the recent mess. We all know now players can/do fix matches.
But what about officials: members of respective boards, umpires? Don't you think umpires are also prone to greed? Since, focus has never been there on them, instead their deliberate act can hid behind human errors.
Unless, strict or even exemplary decisions are taken against the culprits--be it players, officials, umpires, cricket will not survive. Of course, there will always be some people who have lots of free time to waste, but still it will die as it will lose its knowledgeable and sensible fans over a period of time (not more than 2-3 years).

AUS well prepared this time...
by sunil k on Sep 24, 2010 12:44 PM

AUS are allways good at planning and execution at the middle....they allways prepare well for any good series.....this time they have good seam attack and a regular test class spinner....batting is ok....not going to be easy for team india.....indian bowling is pathatic these days....harbhajan is "bullshit"....ishanth is no test class bowler now.....there is no third seamer of international class.....only saving point is batting looks solid at middle order.....so....BCCI is looking forward to prepare another set of "bowlers grave yard"....there is every indication of preparing "such pitches".....hmmmm...

Zaheer is only threat.......

He gets reverse swing with old SG bowl. Bhajji performance will depend on the help from the pitch.

Mohali generally assist Fast bowlers and the continues rain means a Bowler dominating Match on the Cards

I hope Rain god will allow the Match to complete unlike last time weather eat one full day against England

These guys are used for this.
by jithu on Sep 24, 2010 09:28 AM  | Hide replies

These guys know well how to tackle bhajji (Who cannot take wickets on first 3 days and can take wickets only on 5th day) and zaheer whose excellent performance was seen in champions league. Simply they will say these kinda statements so that these guys will take rest and take AUS easily.

Aussies are scared of Bhajji!

Zaheer Khan is ruthless and he would rip the aussies apart with his sharpnels.

BHAJJI should have been dropped!!
by Crickbufff on Sep 24, 2010 05:35 AM

Every body plays him well these days! He has lost his Zip and Zing.
I would have liked Ashwin/Amit Mishra/Chawla to be in the team instead of him!

Re: difference between sehwag and dravid

bullshit....simple and straight forward...no need of highcaliber meaningless english words.....the truth is....
"flat pitch bully" like sehwag throws his bat on a good seaming pitch before he getsout and sits in the dressing room....
on the other hand quality player like dravid "relishes the challenge" under such pitch and bowling conditions and provide match winning inningses for team india....
sit n watch the performances rather than meaning less flat pitch bullies inningses on bowlers grave yard..

sunil k, it is you who need to get out of your ''dravid'' phobia and understand and appreciate other player's performances under difficult conditions.

even when club teams like lions and are mauling these two if clarke thinks he needs a plan to facing these two good for nothing guys..its either a big joke or he needs to retire. infact i think they are supremely confident, hence by saying these statements he knows we will pick them so that australia can win. nice trick.
