Useless team selection why they select ishrant sharma again & Amit Mishra. But they select Chawla instead of Amit Mishra. Chawla good bowler as well as he is good fielder.
In my opinion Yuvi should not be disappointed being axed from Indian test squad.Test cricket became outdated now and many good players r nowadays saying farewell to tests to focus on ODI and T20. And he also should be concentrated on ODIs and T20s.He has a very good chance of proving his worth in the coming WC and should have to work hard to regain his form.
Team selection looks good. Some people may feel Yuvraj should have been in the test squad. But, his form has been inconsistent in the tests and rightly he has been kept out. If he really had that test temperment, then he would have cemented his place once Ganguly retired. But that didnt happen and certainly theres a need to look beyond him. Pujara's is a good selection. Hope he makes his debut in Indian conditions, which would increase his confidence. And people talk about Dravid as incapable, doesnt deserve a place now in tests etc etc. Well, Dravid has been the backbone of Indian batting over the decade and his contribution was immense in India achieving number one status is tests. If you would ask any test team captain, they would love to have a player like Dravid in their team. He is still good and much ahead than any of the youngsters today. Yes, he may not be in the peak of his career, but he still is miles ahead than any of the youngsters.

Vicky everone knows that Rahul Dravid is a gr8 batsmen for team India and scored more then 10000 runs in both ODIS & Tests. He is the best player at No. 3 positions for team India in Tests ..no one will be filling his shoes after his retirement.i guess people will agree with me India till not finding a good replacement of Gr8 plyer like Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly after their retirement. So India again will be facing problem in the coming yrs because 3 players are standing on retirement..Sachin, Dravid and LAXMAN..So its very difficult to find replacements of ths gr8 player. But Dravid is out of form for a while and today his age is 37yrs 253days..If he is not perform this two coming series against Australia and NZ I guess he himself retire from international cricket. See age is not a factor in todays cricket. Lots of Aussie players retired like Hayden, Langer,Gilchrist,Warne,Macgrath all retired at the age of 38. When they are strugling with forms. and thought enough cricket they have player for there country they retired from international cricket. In my opinion when u r not performing well for your country and u r strugling with forms from long time then better to retire from International cricket with pride.

Hats off to you.Sensible observation. Regarding Yuvraj He should now marry and settle now. He is just giving nightmares to the cricket lovers. Pujara can should be given more chances and speciall for Dravid, as I think he does not have the past reflexes and a young man should replace him. My preference in the final eleven would go to Pujara instead of Dravid. Shreesnath as a bowler and as person does not deserve in the team I think we should opt for a more mature and balanced bowler and that is Praveen Kumar. Anyhow these are my thoughts amd I am sharing with you. Regards, BST

pujara seems to be from the breed of sanjay manjrekars and rahul dravids ..these people are good for saving matches not winning those... trends in test matches have changed and we need to persist with aggressive players like yuvraj.. once given freedom, he can do better in tests than ODI, similar to sehwag

Dear Manoj, As I wrote in the past note that Yuvraj is finished now. This is not the same Yuvraj we saw in the earlier stage. Now therfore, we should forget him and let him join the glamour world or settle with her one of the girl friends. Cricket is not a cup of tea for him now. Regards, BST

pleas focus on our game.I want you to hit 6balls 6sixes.Iam your big fan.if you have a game you can go on bollywood
In this coloumn everyone talking about Pujara include in the Tests squad and Yuvraj axed from Test squad but no one have a look in one matter where is our gr8 wall( Rahul Dravid ) performances in recent times.. He is a gr8 batsmen there is no doubt and dominating the world cricket from 1996 to 2006 and during that period he scored 23 test centuries of his total 29 centuries in test career..from 2007 to 2010 he only scored only 6 hundred and in that 2 centuries cames against minnows Bangladesh.. His recent test series vs SL 2010 LIKE THIS- 1st test- 18,44 , 2nd test - 3, dint bat, 3rd test- 23, 7. this is not his standard. In 5 inings he played there not able to make a single 50. We need much more from him..All the best Dravid for home series against Australia and then later series vs NZ...We need another one or 2 yrs test cricket from you..

Then why u are not doubting dhobi position. See his performance in Test & T-20. He never deserve a place based on performance but continued again & agian. Even half fit dravid , not in form & at age of 50 will be better batsman in test than fully fir medicore dhobi

1st tell me Ashish whom u r talking about??? who is dhobi?? Can u repeat again wht u said n whom u r talkin about???
that's nice let him continue with his modelling assignment, rather than upsetting many indians... why zaheer, ishant r there in the team..they u should be thrown out of the team...pick any newone
I just don't understand in such a democratic country Like India why no one dares to speak against SACHIN TENDULKAR.
Why people like Ravi shashtri and Sunil Gavaskar are scared to say that Mumbai Indians are out of the Champions tropht...
there is no way MUMBAI INDIANS can Qualify as there run rate is less than RCB and lions.
So today's game is irrelevant...
Sachin should have fielded first and scored the runs in less overs to bring his run rate above RCB but knowing Sachin from last 20 years he played only for his name
Whom are you fooling SACHIN, SHASTRI AND GAVASKAR we indians are become more smart in cricket then what we were 20 years before

even abhinav mukund is better opener for tamilnadu than vijay and where is badrinath...
