"There is loud and clear talk in bookies' circles that some English players were paid enormous amounts of money to lose (Friday's) match" Butt said.

Do we need any more proof to prove that PCB is a circle of bookies? Should Pakistan be allowed to play? If yes, then we can safely conclude that last 20 years of cricket has been fixed affair and will continue.

Azzrooddin:

Hmmmmmm.... nice to know that the ICC officials is a circle of bookies.... :)

Isn't that how they came to know first that Pakistan players were involved in spot fixing? ;-)

I assume ICC never went into probing the players until it the scam was out in the news paper and TV channels. It was not ICC, but the media were in circle of bookies and that only enabled them to nail the pakistani team. Well one of the pakistani player himself committed before camera and said that almost all pakistani players were involved in this at some stage or the other.
