Mary Kom wins 5th World title in a row

Bridgetown: India’s woman boxer M.C.Mary Kom, on Saturday, claimed a historic fifth successive World Championship title, beating Steluta Duta of Romania 16-6 in the final here.

Mary Kom, who competed in the 48kg category, had defeated Alice Kate Aparri of Philippines 8-1 in the semi-final on Friday to assure herself of at least a silver in the sixth edition of the competition.

The Khel Ratna awardee from Manipur thus remained the only boxer to have won a medal in each edition of the World Championship.

yuvi is really old with lot of injuries and lost his form completely. He is the weakest player at the moment for India team and may be permanently dropped if they find one allrounder. Ir is a joke from Juvi that a bookie will approach him. May be when he is working as ball boy he may be approached for spot fixing to bring different botles at different times. Why of all sudden he is praising sachin like anything? Yuvi, u better correct all ur mistakes and improve ur game to play for india rather giving stupid interviews
