:-). I just went to fb and found that senthil also posted the team there not sure what was team all about.
Announcing his decision to give up his fight with fitness, Flintoff said: "It is with both disappointment and sadness that I am today announcing my retirement from all forms of cricket.
"The decision to end my career came yesterday after consultation with medical advisers. I was told that the problems I have been trying to overcome in rehab for the last year following the latest in a series of operations would not recover sufficiently to allow a comeback.
"Having been told that my body would no longer stand up to the rigours of cricket, I had no alternative but to retire."
Flintoff added. "I would like to thank my family, Lancashire Cricket Club, England, all my sponsors, friends and advisers for all the help and support they have given me throughout my career.
"Last, but by no means least, I am indebted to the encouragement and support I have always received from England's magnificent supporters. "I will now be taking a break before deciding which future direction to take."

Ok sorry :-( This was from the London Evening Standard... usually the most current paper as it comes out twice a day... morning and afternoon :-)
Had it been a news about any indian player, anything even a book launch, the message board would have been flooded with bad messages. The truth is PCB has a video of flintoff involvement in spot fixing and he sees retirement as the only escape. Watch out graeme smith SA and sarwan WI will soon do the same. these people have their business established and dont care about cricket any more.

Maybe they are realistic and don't hang onto glory as long as possible... Freddie knows he has been out due to injuries for so long... what's the point hanging about.

Not sure. It isn't going to be that much interesting game. This match is not going help them to qualify for semifinal.

'but for injuries'.. lol. It was not his but which was injured, it was his knees and foot which gave the problems.
