Service tax.
by Hariharan shankaran on Sep 15, 2010 09:14 PM

There is the need for healthcare for Indian Citizen and many hospitals charge 5* rates and majority cannot afford medical expenses. Service tax is one instrument even a person under BPL is paying unnoticed when he uses his cell phone. This is an indication that almost the entire population is contributing some amount towards service tax. If this source is earmarked for hospital facilities, free medical treatment can be provided to all Indian Citizen. The Governments can build more hospitals and clinical services throughout India. All the politicians will get reelected if this is implemented during their tenure once the scheme is announced.

Brilliant idea, you can just call Mr. Telgi, he is a master at fake documents etc. Once the business starts, you can very well be his new neighbour.
(I was Just joking). I can feel the sattire behind this message of yours.

We would like to hear or read the news of he actually making the payment or CE succeeding with their notice. Issueing a tax notice has no news value.

Please read properly what is written:

"The players were asked to give the break-up of their earnings from cricket matches and endorsements but they failed to provide us separate figures. Therefore, we have been forced to levy tax on their income, whether it is match fee earned by players from IPL-1 and IPL-II season, after assessing their income on individual basis," the official said

then only why one player's name is highlighted?Who is behind it?

The department had already served notices on three other IPL players VRV Singh, Sunny Sohal [ Images ] and Uday Kaul, asking them to pay tax of Rs 11.33 lakh, Rs 4.79 lakh and Rs 4.53 lakh, respectively.

There are lot of other trades raking in big money. Not everyone is a winner in real estate. But big money alone is not a criteria for good business. I know people who invested crores for an apartment just and getting only faulty building and facilities. Neither the builders or the authority will help these losers.
