What good is one year duration?
by Ramesh Kapoor on Sep 08, 2010 07:56 PM

I have served in a cricket fraternity many years ago; and found the best to be on board for two years or maximum three years. First year one learns the ropes, and in the second year the person's perfection is visible to one and all; and in the third year, there is no further initiative left, and it is time to call it a day. But in India this is not possible, as too many issues are involved, and once a person gets power, so be it.

"Changing Quote"
by Shax on Sep 08, 2010 05:47 PM

Sport is not a sport today....it is more of a business....players play for money and not for the nation...The famous quote "Where there is a will there is a way" should be changed to "Where there is bill there is play"....this quote applies to our players...example is IPL and champions league.......

in line with his role in the CWG scam, the world's richest sports body is ripe for the plucking.

Sad Power is also out of the way, having been shunted to the ceremonial post of ICC chieftain.

The way is now clear for the crown prince to enjoy his inheritance.
