One obvious match that could have been fixed
by Orient Mystique on Sep 07, 2010 05:04 PM  | Hide replies

in IPL 2010 was the one between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab played at Chennai.

Punjab Team batted first and made 136 for 8 and one thought that CSK will bulldoze their way to a comfortable win, with batting being their strong point and since they were playing at home.

It was however not to be, with the match getting tied and Kings XI managing to win through the super over.

Till today, it is hard to believe that CSK could have lost this match. Perhaps IPL organisers themselves (read Lalit Modi) wanted to keep spectator interest alive for some more time, since a loss would have put Kings XI out of contention for a semifinal berth clearly.

Hey love, those fools fixed matches while millions of morons in this country and the wider world fixed themselves in front of the TV. and now that some of the fixers are fixed to the spot, the million or more morons want to fix the fixers who fixed the matches so that more millions of morins can watch more matches that are suppossedly not fixed. Me my love, am happy laughing of this fixation of the masses. In a months time the Aussies would be here and all would be forgotten while the morons fix themselves in front of the TV watching a match that would termed as "fixed" in six month from now.....awwww what a fix is this

What if tomorrow, we get to know that the likes of Ganguly and Tendulkar are also involved in match fixing. Ganguly still wants to play IPL because of more money. Going by this logic, there is every possibility that if a bookie shows him money, he will fix a match. There was one match in IPL 3 where KKR scored 200 and still they lost to Kings XI Punjab, the worst side in IPL 3

Just because Ganguly wants to earn money and play in IPL 3, he is susceptable to taking money from bookies??? Man, you are sick...

Dear Dravid, Laxman, Sachin..

I have one request to make. Pls quit this association of bar dancers and pimps, and come out and play for the nation as u always have done. IPL might give u money, but let it not tarnish ur reputation bcos of some dirty sheep there. They say a man is known by the company he keeps. Surely this company is not suited for the likes of u. Its far better to score a duck for ur nation, rather than a ton for these pimps.

Yuvraj Was fixed
by Vichili Mohan on Sep 07, 2010 04:16 PM

I am sure betting was done in IPL, see the character of Lalit modi he was there not for cricket but for money, see the character of youraj, now a days he is least interested in cricket, momey and woman is his priority see his attitiude towards IPL III, and pls dont blame only players, its is easy to understand that amir , a 18 year old small village boy, is not able to fix the match without the help of senior players and officials, PCB is also invoilved, sharad pawar too need money to run his political party. is bathroom mein sabhi nange hai,as yaseer hameeed said, JO PAKDA GAYA WOHEE CHHOR HOTA HAI".

ABOUT dawood company everybody knows that marathi politicians dont want dawood to be captured, irrespective of any party. other wise jawed miandad daughter/son married to dawood family, simply just go and ask jawed miandad the address of his married children, thats all.

its all game and nothing else, we the people are BIG IDIIIOOOOT who dont understand.

Article relates to the Srilankan Player
by Manoj Kumar on Sep 07, 2010 03:59 PM  | Hide replies

This article is related to Mahela Jayawardene. He was the one who was moved up the order in the later half of the IPL. Also he is supposed to be the player who is under the scanner from ICC as well.

Correct. The main suspects here are Mahela, Dilshan and Yuvraj also.

Yuvraj had fitness problems & was out of form during IPL. Also his relationship with franchise owners after losing captainship had turned sour.

But cannot say he intentionally under performed as his poor form with the bat continues even today.

LETTER OF THE EDITOR OF "THE TIMES OF INDIA" TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA

Dear Mr. Prime minister,

I am a typical mouse from Mumbai. In the local train compartment which has capacity of 100 persons, I travel with 500 more mice. Mouse at least squeaks, but we don't even do that.

Today I heard your speech, in which you said, 'NO BODY WOULD BE SPARED'. I would like to remind you that fourteen years have passed since serial bomb blasts in Mumbai took place. Dawood was the main conspirator. Till today he is not caught. All our Bollywood actors, our builders, our Gutka king keep meeting him, but your Government can not catch him. Reason is simple; all your ministers are hand in glove with him. If any attempt is made to catch him, everybody will be exposed. Your statement 'NOBODY WOULD BE SPARED' is nothing but a cruel joke on these unfortunate people of India.

Enough is enough. As such, after seeing terrorist attack carried out by about a dozen young boys, I realize that if same thing continues, days are not far away when terrorists will attack by air, destroy our nuclear reactors and there will be one more Hiroshima .

We the people are left with only one mantra. Womb to Bomb to Tomb. You promised Mumbaikar Shanghai; what you have given us is Jalianwala Baug.

Today only your home minister resigned. What took you so long to kick out this joker? Only reason was that he was loyal to Gandhi family. Loyalty to Gandhi family is

Why??
by satish chandar on Sep 07, 2010 02:28 PM

Underplaying is a players wish and if the mteam management is finding that he is doing intentionally(On his own and not for money), they are well within their limits to speak with the player or even drop the player from the playing 11..

Underperforming for money alone is a crime.. If he is doing it intentionally to show his protest, the player is risking his career for some useless ego's.. That is not a crime surely!! But Idiotic..
