keeping sports clean
by Michael Noronha on Sep 08, 2010 02:57 PM

Not just players, every sports enthusiast should do their bit to clean up sports. Boycott the bookmakers, refuse to take banned drugs if pursuing a sporting career, train hard and nurture the God given talents and those of the children from an early age! Success will come only at the cost of hard work, passion, pride, patriotism and dedication. Indians have proved themselves more than capable at the highest level.

Since he is a girl alcoholic whereever he goes to play...he worried abt his privacy...to be a captain of Bharat, he should lead from the front by cultivating good habits & discipline like sachin...i like sachin for his discipline & dedication...

Clean game?
by Bodh Ramdeo on Sep 08, 2010 05:26 AM

The integrity of the game is paramount!
Doesn't matter who, whether Pak, Brit, Indian, Ozzie etc, etc- the ACSU must be vigilant and investigate even the hint of illegal activities.

@Junior Shelly

"Even a player like Sehwag for all his on-field achievements, but who is not that good looking seems to be tempted to do outrageous advertisements, just for the sake of money.
Given this situation, a player of lesser caliber and who is not so good in his looks would naturally be tempted to earn extra money through other means. No matter legal or illegal.
'Demonstration Effect' is indeed dangerous...!!"
I agree with Mr. Junior Shelly who posted this earlier today. This is sensible thinking. Nowadays, cricket has become all about money. When a young player watches his seniors making billions out of the game through other means like endorsements and contracts, he too would tend to make as much money as possible, no matter how he makes it. Its as simple as that.

its temptation game. in each n every field, u vl get some who goes unscrupulous. but those players can fix matches n change the whole course of action n result which is shocking considering that some nail biting finish leads to heart attack of fans.

Temptation is everywhere dude.. If a top heroine earns money thru her market value, a normal new entrant should sell her body to earn more like the top heroine?? Try and put effort to become like them and not indulge in some degrading activity just for sake..
