Pakistan and its Citizens
by LG on Sep 03, 2010 03:52 PM

Pakistan as a country itself is suffering from IDENTITY CRISIS and its CITIZENS, from Top Officials (President, Foreign Minister, Sports Minister, High Commissioner etc) to Media (News and TV) to common man, are all suffering from INFERIORITY COMPLEX.

This leads them to indulge in Face-saving activities whenever Porkies are found in any kinds of wrongdoing instead of trying to face the problems and find solutions.

No wonder, all this has turned pakistan into a Failed Sate with no future--Sad but true.

It is very unfortunate that Pakistan is our neighbor.

No country can change Pakistan and its style of functioning. Its citizens have to change themselves and their system, and work hard for creating harmony and peace with India.

IPL
by LG on Sep 03, 2010 03:01 PM

Well, I feel that IPL is also susceptible to spot fixing. In fact, it might have already been taking place in IPL.

Greed is not limited to any country or people's financial status. Following people can be greedy

--people lacking skills or will to work hard, but longing for being rich fast and easy

--people with defective upbringing i.e people for whom grass is greener on the other side.

Moreover, when top officials of any event like IPL are corrupt themselves and they themselves might be involved in spot fixing or match fixing in IPL, who will catch the spot fixers.

Porki players involved in spot fixing severely to set an example and at the same time we should investigate events like IPL.

ICC SHOULD BAN Pakistan Cricket Team
by harshvardhan thakare on Sep 03, 2010 02:03 PM

"A player is the representative of a country. Salman Butt is a Pakistan player, so are Asif and Amir. So it is the name of the country which is at stake."
IF THE PAKISTAN SPORTS MINISTER IS REALY AGREE TO WHAT HE HAS SAID THEN AFTER In case the allegations are proved THE ICC SHOULD BAN Pakistan Cricket Team.

Shame Nobel
by springvale on Sep 03, 2010 01:16 PM

Shall there be shame Nobel? May be Swedish academy can think about it, although millions in Pakistan will be competing for it. It's very difficult to choose one person, where from President down to street vendor, everyone is shamelessly, effortlessly & whole heartedly corrpt
