Life ban on pakistani players.
by sisir majumder on Sep 03, 2010 01:15 PM

The criminals should be an examplanary punishment so that other players dare to spot-fixing. But the whole team should not be banned for interest of International games. The criminals should be fined rather than ban on the whole team from International cricket.

latest twist: Pak blames global warming for their cricket woes
by Sameer Bhagwat on Sep 02, 2010 09:33 AM

How can Pak, the land of the PURE, ever be guilty of anything. Whatever sh1t happens they are always the poor victims, we should sympathize with them and send them millions of dollars (through UN)...

CROOK
by P R on Sep 02, 2010 08:43 AM

Imran Con himself is a cheater and crook given his bottle cork tampering admission. Infact there is not a single player in Pak who is not a cheat.
Given that PCB also is comletely crooked dont be surprised if they try not to take any action against these match fixers.

Ofcourse spot fixing does not make any changes in the outcome of the match, but they cheated people. They played with their belief. This is really untollerable. I suspect who will watch the match after all these allegations? These players should be banned for 5 years atleast. We need players who will play for country. We dont need players who will play for self purpose and money.

Right so one would do it more to make up for paid penalty

Pay heavy penalty. Loss of money. How to make up for it? Do more of it and be smart this time ;-) or charge more money this time. Especially as you come closer to retirement, because if you are caught around retirement, don't pay it and just get retired. ;-)Play this fun game until then.

I can sympathies with the great Imran Khan, who must ne deeply pained at the state of his nation's cricket affairs. Being a legend in his lifetime, he must be a distraught man today watching all hid hard work go down the drain. It is sad, but Imran, these guys who if proved need to be punished harshly with a life time ban and fines else future generations will take it as light and continue to indulge in such nefarious activities with impunity.

Match Fixing history
by springvale on Sep 02, 2010 07:28 AM

Is it the same insane guy who once proposed to organize a cricket match between India & Pakistan to settle Kashmir issue once & for all. Now we know reasons behind his bright ideas, surely he could have spot fixed that match also. Hardly surprising for a nation of match fixers. I believe most of the mothers/ sisters there already sold out. Anyway most of the wives are killed under the name of honor killing, although hardly there is any honor left.

The subject was successfully changed from massive defeat....
by NashikMarathi on Sep 02, 2010 07:22 AM

.... to some "fixing".

Everybody has been taken in by this cheap stunt.

The key here is that the Pak team is incompetent, lacks hardwork and talent plus they play scared. That is the main point and everything else is a diversion.

Pak would rather be known as fixers than losers... but here they are losers.
