Looks like we are seeing a familiar turn of events wherein "denial" and "no action till proven guilty" stands will prevail. The concerned players will "come back" and the whole thing will fizzle out. I hope it is not so.

What you said is absolutely right. Even if found guilty they will be given an indefenite ban which will be revoked by PCB a year or two later. I wonder how Kamran Akmal escaped from this scandal.
