IPL is only made good to Indian Cricket 1. it produced lots of new indian players 2. gave more publicity to cricket by T20 3. gave exp with senior foriegn players 4. helps state players to come forward
IPL was started as a vehicle for laundering money. And all associated with IPL have dirty money. Its a joke that the gaikwad cant get money to pay 12.5%. The problem is it is all black money. IPL - another venture to make an a$$ of the general public.
IPL is a money enterprise... When you have multiple companies involved, its obvious that these kinds of fights will happen very often.. Forget abt talent, forget abt the place.. its all abt money!
Ppl in Kochi shouldnt feel bad that this is a golden chance lost! They dont have any local business giant capable of bidding alone and winning this huge IPL contract!!
Dont worry ppl.. IPL will fade away soon!! Real cricket will come back again!!

I doubt it. ICL, conceived by Kapil Dev has been grounded by the ego of BCCI bosses. ICL was definitely low key and could have helped many youngsters in their quest to play for their nation. IPL on the contrary, is out and out shameless business venture. These companies may patch up at the last minute in order not to loose the profits (Remember the politicians arguments: There are no friends or foes in politics). Or they may fight with each other to death, but would come back again for the re-bid on benami names. The thamasha will continue. However, if the IPL fades away and real, genuine Cricket rules the roost, that would be great for the game.

well said... IPL is a shame to cricket... just hope cricket comes back to the glorious days of the past... with all those so called "pinch hitters" who are a pain to the eye gone into the oblivion
Are we not wasting time on these business pride just fighting for their own benifits at the name os COCHIN.Surprise why the 10 days given was left a scope for extention by BCCI
