Parochial and jingoistic messages should be rejected forthright. Messages should be allowed to be posted only after review by an able moderator. We are all Indians first, everything else is secondary. Every culture is unique and we should be proud of our diversity. People who post seditious and hatred inciting messages should be reported to the authorities for further action. It is rather distressing to see the level of debate sink to such low levels. It is high time that Rediff woke up.

And their IPAddress should be tracked and they should be put in jail for national disintegration... With too much freedom of speech our country is nosediving to the gutter whereas without our perceived "absence of freedom of speech",development in China is touching the sky...

nothing wrong in pointing out an observation. maybe "useless" is wrong word but rest of below comment is ok. you can say mumbai is "slumbai" a few times to point out the city features..mothing wrong as you actually want them to improve.as we are all indians. also our standards are very low compared to rest of world in many areas so its ok to be angry a bit

yes,i agree..i am frm kerala myself. also ppl are very smug there bcos of gulf money. yeah, goa tourism is 100 times better than kerala..its all about attitude.
