1. Sachin 2. Sehwag 3. Dhoni(He must bat at no.3 and play till the end) 4. Yuvi 5. Raina 6. Kohli 7. Ashwin/Uthappa/Tiwary 8. Harbhajan 9. P Kumar 10. Zaheer Khan 11. Aasish Nehra
Reserves should be selected on basis form in the coming matches from: Vinay Kumar, Vijay, Uthappa, Ishant, Ojha, Yusuf Pathan, Saurabh Tiwary.. If needed a backup keeper can be taken..

Kohli bats at no.6 in IPL and can hit when he comes in in 45th over. At the same time, he is better equipped than Dhoni to habndle if the score is 40-3/60-4.. Current team is weak in lower order with Dhoni not in good form..

Not forgotten.. But he is heavily injury prone and he is not in the best form due to that.. May be, he can be in reserves and serve as backup opener..
It is essential for us to drop Tendulkar if we want to win World Cup. He is now too old for this short format of the game, and can't even field properly. And he will make runs against week teams on easy wickets. Best bet is to show faith in youngsters like Kohli, Tiwari, etc. and also support Yuvraj.

Also need to drop pot-bellied Yuvraj and Sehwag who are playing just for records and showing off. Drop Dhoni also as his bihari attitude is bad for team.

PATHAN BROTHERS ARE NOTHING, BEST TEAM IS OK THEY CAN BE REPLACE WITH GAUTAM AND PRAVEEN KUMAR
Why is not nobody is complain that Srikanth is select only many peoples from Chennai? When will player from Bengaluru like Uthappa, and Manish Pundey is select?
Yedyurappa or Rajkumar should only help us India cricket teams. I will pray to god and asks gundappa vishwanatha to come to selection group again.

There was too much bias towards Mumbai players in the past. Nobody complained then. Glad to see other cities getting a chance.
I do not see Ishanth, Sreeshanth and Rohit Sharma having the enough temperament to feature in the list. Dinesh Karthik had been enough chances in the past. The only worry would be who would substitute for Dhoni in Wicket Keeping, if he gets injured.
Gautam Gambhir Virendra Sehwag Sachin Tendulkar Virat Kohli Suresh Raina Mahendra Singh Dhoni Rohit Sharma (Yuvraj is very unpredictable hence not in my list) P Ojha Praveen Kumar Zaheer Khan and Ashish Nehra
Reserve Yuvraj Singh Harbhajan Singh (Hasn't performed in ODIs for a while now) Ravindra Jadeja Ishant Sharma and Saurav Tiwari
that's my default 11 Depending on Conditions/form may include these from the bench R Uthappa (backup keeper) S Tiwary (unlikely to be needed, except if someone injured) Ojha/Ashwin (one gets in the bench depending on their form & for spinning tracks may use 2 spinners) Ishant Tyagi
I think Sehwag's an asset at no:6/7.. gr8 against spinners & useful in 3rd powerplay.. And need to use Sehwag/Yuvi/Raina more with the ball atleast 12-15 overs...

Sehwag at no 7? Have you lost it? He's most effective as an opener, why would you wanna screw around with his batting slot?

Absolutely, Sehwag needs to open with Gautam and Sachin needs to be at that 1 down key position. Wonder why there is soo much imporatance given to that spoilt bart of the Indian cricket team Yuvraj Singh. He will fail you when you need him the most, some one who has replaced Ajit Agarkar as an eternal non performer inspite of being a gifted cricket..
